#drante additionally i think a lot of you need to understand the logical consequences of ethnocentrism (if you’re voting corrupt) AND cultural relativism (if you’re voting worthy). i’m genuinely shocked at how illogical the fandom is being about fu’s crime. do your research!
#drante rewatching chapter 2 and i just wanted to remind everyone that fu motivated takiko with mollys secret. just in case you forgot. obviously not the sole reason taki committed but everyone saying he’s not that bad might wanna do some reevaluation
i do hope when lockdown returns we get mini voicelines back. like characters saying smth silly like zeke’s “oh wah wah wah” that we had in chapters 1 and 2…i miss those :(
icyov.straw.page open for questioning despite having a fuckton of work to do…i want to be asked questions

i’d like to say some words regarding zeke, subconscious biases, all of our understandings of the world as human beings, and how we can contribute thoughtfully not only to this project but to each others lives. it IS that deep! 🧵
and try to create a positive change in people’s understanding (insert very long paragraph about ethical cultural relativism). TLDR, if you’re going to fight a subconscious bias, try and analyze if you yourself might be perpetuating them as well. we’re all human beings with +

if you voted women corrupt in earlier chapters, its not a personal failing; misogyny is perpetuated as normal in the vast majority of societies. acknowledging/understanding subconscious biases + how gender influences behaviour are important critical thinking skills to develop
i’ve been a shinku worthy advocate long before chapter 3 came out but remind me how many women received corrupt again?
#drantedeadly i have more to say cuz i like to talk
the trial to me felt really…choppy? in terms of pacing? it wasnt even that it was bad, it just felt like the writing was more focused on damage control regarding the consistency/legitimacy of swap theory as opposed to being +
#drantedeadly many are too focused on if ch3 was “good” or “bad” while only considering the actualization of swap theory, and it’s overshadowing conversation regarding this chapters actual weak points. for example, i’d argue that lyra was weak and impersonal in this scene
closing argument already does. yes lyra is a debater, yes she was explicitly doing everything she could to make the party vote for her while trying to mimic another person, yes there’s a time limit for trials, but i hope you guys kinda get where im coming from
