"identified" by reading the hackers gloat post.
We identified unauthorized access to certain PingCAP internal systems. We took containment measures and engaged independent cybersecurity firms. There is no evidence that user data stored in TiDB was impacted. We’ll share further updates as our investigation continues: pingcap.com/trust-hub/securi…

Never been happier to know that all my public facing code is Kotlin on JVM since 2012. And Java before that going back to 2003. log4j didn't get me, so...

The landlord does not have to substantiate anything to you, nor their use of the money they earn. They do have to maintain the property, living conditions, taxes, mortgage and whatever else they do to manage making this place available for you to rent. Laws usually limit the amount of rent increases during a contract, and between renewals. These sometimes have basis on inflation or some other indicator or uniform basis. If the law allows it, they are within their rights. They owe you nothing. In the meantime you are using their ability to use the credit score they earned, the income they earned to pay for the down payment and house, and they are loaning that to you at a fee along with the costs of the property to themselves. If their income now includes your rent, then that is likely the reason they rent out the house. Otherwise, why rent out the house?

same poll: 35-40% of American's felt they could not confidently say the elections would be conducted fairly. "accept" was not defined nor explained, could mean "complain or not about them" 94% of democrats believed whatever they imagined this to be, 77% of independent, 36% of republicans, 70% overall. nothing said that they felt it was correct or incorrect that he might "not accept" the results. For example, if they believed there was a chance of unfair elections (since only 60-65% felt they would be fair), then they would expect the President to not accept them as well. so what does the poll mean? whatever each person imagined the vague question to mean.

Tucker had ideas to change cars and the skeptics crushed his company, as well as entrenched lobbyists. Don't repeat the error.
