Heart is breaking for students, faculty, staff, friends and family of the Philosophy Faculty at Charles and for all CZ folks. I’m so sorry. We all deserve to feel safe as we move about the city, at work, and in our schools.

In a fake emergency vote by the DeWine appointed trustees of the university @youngstownstate offered insurrectionist climate science denier anti-civil rights blowhard Bill Johnson the uni presidency. Good people, please step up to help us demand they rescind and reopen the search

Valley pals, pls call our local news or send a letter to demand they stop the anti-choice bias in reporting the win of Issue 1. Ohioans issued a broad public mandate to report fairly and accurately on the need for abortion healthcare. Take action here: actionnetwork.org/letters/te…

Feels good to wake up knowing that Ohio will be a better place for pregnant people and for medical privacy. And it feels good to know that the vast majority of my neighbors feel the same way.
One hour left before polls close in Ohio. There’s still time to get out to vote yes on 1. Our repro health and freedom determines whether young people stay here, jobs stay here, people live or die. So, yes.
Hundreds at the “souls to the polls” today in Mahoning County. Packed. Ohio GOP voter suppression means no more Monday vote, but we go all out for Issue 1 Tuesday 6:30am-7:30pm. Get yr absentee in the mail to the board of elections Monday!
On Tuesday, Ohio will vote on Issue 1, a proposed amendment that would establish a constitutional right to abortion up to around 24 weeks. The question made it onto the ballot after proponents collected more than 495,000 signatures.

26,000 voters in Ohio were purged from the rolls by GOP leadership ahead of Tuesday’s critical election, which will determine abortion access in the state.
A political party that wants to make it harder to vote is sending a clear message: they can't win on their ideas alone.
A #YESonIssue1Ohio queer reminder! All our grievances are connected, and reproductive care is a frontline in the war for dignity, respect, privacy, and bodily autonomy. Our legal and medical fates, our privacy, our rights to existence in Ohio are entwined with this bill.
The same people who want to control reproduction want to stop gender affirming care and LGBTQIA+ supportive healthcare in general. They are the children and grandchildren of those who wanted to let people die of AIDS rather than treat them and find a cure.
