People complaining about the “fan service” in SOTR when it comes to certain characters I’m just like umm well they explained this already in the trilogy. past victors serve as mentors stands to reason we would see victors from games prior to Haymitch as mentors in the game
Effie was the only person I can think of that felt like actual fan service and even then she’s worked into the story in a way that makes sense in the books.
I mean they were in the epilogue of the book it’s based on so yeah we would expect them to show up at the end of the movie since it’s in the source material
