Calling it “just a little trick” feels almost ironic for Mitya. Scientific breakthroughs often begin as experiments nobody takes seriously. I wonder how many of his supposedly harmless ideas have forced him to rethink what he thought he knew.

Mitya clapping sarcastically when Chugunov tries to pin the murders on Odette is so telling. Beneath all his rambling, he has very little patience for reasoning he considers ridiculous. He's far more sharp-tongued than his usual demeanour suggests.

I love that Mitya can recognize when someone is lying without immediately confronting them. At the restaurant, he realizes Vodyanitsa's conversation has an ulterior motive, yet he plays along. He's much more socially perceptive than his demeanor suggests.

Mitya's “smarty pants” reputation is funny because his intelligence isn't portrayed as cold superiority. He'll ramble, apologize, get distracted, and still casually notice something everyone else overlooked.

Lohen's approach to knighthood is fascinating because he doesn't reject the ideal of protecting people. He rejects the idea that protection has to look respectable. If throwing himself into danger saves someone, he'll do it regardless of how unconventional it looks. #genshintwt

The loneliness of Lohen isn't that nobody understands him. It's that he deliberately makes himself difficult to understand because vulnerability feels more dangerous than isolation. #genshintwt

Lohen is the type of character whose loyalty becomes self-destructive. Once you've earned his trust, he'll keep choosing you even when it's objectively the worse option for himself. #genshintwt

In military culture, they would suggest labelling your gun as your "wife" as you must have them by your side at all times & have strong bonds with it. When Lohen says knives are better "wives," it means he prefers to have a blade. He was never comparing them to an actual spouse.

So, is he left-handed or became ambidextrous due to training with his right? He seems wields his weapons with his left & right, though primarily his left. #genshintwt
