Following the recent decision from Haas F1 Team confirming that I will not be participating in this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix, I wish to formally address some media reports and speculation surrounding the situation.
Last night, a difference in viewpoints led to a discussion with the parties involved. Whilst I acknowledge that this took place, I categorically reject any reports or allegations suggesting that any form of physical violence was used to resolve any differences of any nature.
I strongly condemn violence in all its forms and firmly believe that disagreements should always be handled with professionalism, respect, and mutual understanding.
I kindly ask that speculation be avoided while the matter is being addressed.

10월 28일 원당역 흉기 사건 피해자의 동생입니다. 이 사건의 중대함이 제대로 알려지지 않고, 일부 보도에 사실과 다른 내용이 있어 글을 씁니다.
일부 기사에 "목과 다리를 다쳤다"고 나왔지만, 이는 구급대원의 정확한 파악 전에 전해진 초기 정보로 사실과 다릅니다.
가족이 전달받은 바로는 가장 심각한 부상은 얼굴과 목입니다. 얼굴을 알아보기 힘들 정도로 난도질 당했으며, 목의 주요 혈관과 척추 안쪽 혈관도 손상되었습니다. 폐, 간 등 옆구리 쪽 장기도 심하게 훼손되어 현재 매우 위중한 상태입니다.
피의자는 피해자의 뒤에서 목 부위를 찔렀습니다. 또한 수개월 전부터 흉기를 소지하고 다녔고, 체포 전 자신의 몸에 스프레이를 뿌리면서 퍼포먼스를 행했다고 전해 들었습니다. 이런 정황으로 볼 때 우발적 범행이 아니라고 생각합니다.
이 사건이 가벼운 사건으로 축소되지 않도록 정확한 보도와 관심을 부탁드립니다.
