I knew it myself, but my flip didn't go well, so I'm really surprised I got this score even with an under-rotation. I was really happy, but since it was an 82 with room to grow, I was even happier. On her preparation Shimada: I was in quite bad form this morning, but up until then I had been going really well, so I decided to trust that practice and go for it. On nerves at her senior Grand Prix debut Shimada: It was a really big venue with such loud cheering, a slightly different atmosphere from juniors, so I was aware that I was very nervous. During the six-minute warm-up, the way we were introduced was really fun, and I enjoyed it, but when it was my turn, the nerves were stronger. Honestly, until the Lutz and the loop were done, I think I was so nervous I couldn't move. My spins wobbled a bit more than usual, so I could feel how nervous I was.
