There's a difference between "This isn't for me and that's okay." and "This thing I don't like sucks and everyone who likes it are the problem." and it really feels like everyone wants to be the latter rather than just admit something isn't for them.

i’ve seen & heard many of my oomfs glaze the everloving fuck out of it but when i have tried to see for myself what the hype is about i just cant find any redeeming qualities. i watch playthroughs and it feels like i’m watching keys being jingled

I get AC Online has issues but can folks complaining actually be CORRECT in their complaints first? Saying loot boxes are purchased with real-world money and that Zoll can be bought to speed up progression is so factually wrong it really shows who actually played and who didn't.

I feel like a bunch of Ace Combat fans went into Online expecting it to be some grand multiplayer game they will spend their next five years just sinking into, when it truth it's literally just Infinity without the fuel system.

Also feel like some people fantasized about the return of Infinity because they didn't actually get to play it before it was shut down, not realizing that Infinity was equally as grindy, tedious, and held up by very specific niche of fans.
