Every single one of these posts is always like this person lives a very nice life and spends an excessive amount of money every day, how can they survive on this?
NYC just isn't worth it anymore.
I heard a story last night about a guy who works at a large financial institution and is losing money by working in finance in NYC.
He has an MBA from a top 3 school, he’s a military veteran and an ‘A’ player.
Here is the breakdown: 👇
(He’s married with a baby and lives in a two bedroom apartment)
I’ve increasingly heard stories like this.
I think these really smart, talented, extremely hard working people are realizing that living the NYC life inside of these large institutions is just not worth it.
Yes, if you happen to climb your way to the top, the pay can be great, but that’s a long, hard path filled with politics, uncertainty and peril.
I think there's a large pool of talent living this life who are desperate for a change outside of the corporate world in NYC.
I think a lot of these people will end up in SMB/ETA.
This posts replies show how truly terrible this site has become. All the blue check guys are in there like wow, masterful sir, truly epic. And everyone below them is like “that’s not how this works”

X is already cash flow positive not including the cost of servicing debt. The company expects to reach that milestone even including debt by the back half of 2024

I keep getting ads for free shipping on this $2000 pizza oven. I promise you, the shipping is not the barrier to me getting your pizza oven.
This is the most entertaining thing people in the 1600s could come up with. If you showed them an episode of Peppa Pig they’d think it was the best thing ever and would quit dancing forever.

Somewhere out there someone would have become the main character today, but their wild take just goes unnoticed.
This lady really thought this could be her moment to shine as a right wing grifter but fumbled the bag. An average of $13 per item at a store where almost nothing is cheaper than $10. Should have bought a pack or two of USDA graded beef to help inflate it.
I’m laughing 🤣 at how #triggered the #progressive left-wingers are about my Costco receipt. “sHoW tHe rEcEiPt oR iTs fAkE!” Nope, it's real, and all 58 items are food but 9 small purchase items like paper towels, razors, etc. No alcohol, no tires, no electronics, no big purchases, no steaks, no junk food, no sugary foods, no vitamins, no cosmetics, no medicine, and no soda. Lots of frozen broccoli, if you must know, and two packs of chicken thighs. And it wouldn't matter if I showed the cart and the receipt and took a lie-detector test; you'd still protect Biden’s inflation and reckless spending. 🤷♀️ Here is the receipt for more triggering. #BidensEconomy
