Over the summer, we achieved more drug development milestones than in the rest of @newlimit history. We scaled our manufacturing processes, ran our first large animal model studies, and engaged productively with regulators. Our pipeline of reprogramming payloads continued to grow, hitting new all time highs for both the quality of our best payloads and the quantity of payloads we explored.
>2X stronger regenerative rescue in old hepatocytes
+2 payloads rescue multiple functions in old hepatocytes
+8 payloads restore function in old endothelial cells, +5 in hepatocytes
314X scale up of therapeutic manufacturing, 13X quality improvement
2.5X improvement in endothelial cell age prediction accuracy
>5000 payloads tested (during just the summer) for effects on cell age (all time high!)
5X improvement in data efficiency from transfer learning
Amazing work from @harvey continues @gabepereyra

Amazing things happening at Rippling
Everyone's building AI agents. Almost nobody's solved the part where the agent knows what it's not allowed to see.
@Rippling has. We spent the day at both their San Francisco and New York offices with @parkerconrad, @stanine, @fullung, Adam Swiecicki, and the team building Rippling AI as part of our "History in the Making" film series.

Saronic has been awarded a production OT under the U.S. Navy's MUSV Marketplace for Marauder, our 180-foot dual-use autonomous ship — following a rigorous at-sea evaluation that tested the vessel’s capabilities.
The trials included autonomously tracking and maneuvering around a variety of vessels, plus a battery of passive-perception tests — requiring Marauder to detect, track, and follow other vessels using only its passive onboard sensors, with no active radar. It's one of the hardest problems in autonomous maritime systems, and Marauder ran every scenario back-to-back on the same platform now under contract with the Navy.
"Marauder went from initial design to on-the-water in under a year, and this evaluation demonstrated that the platform holds up under the Navy's own toughest testing," said Dino Mavrookas, CEO and Co-Founder. "We've now flipped our third Marauder hull, with several more moving through the production line behind it. We can build at that pace because we designed the autonomy, software, hardware, and the production process side-by-side, as one system, rather than bolting them together after the fact. That's what it means to be a vertically integrated shipbuilder, and it's why we've been able to build and deliver at speed and scale."
Mad skills
Today, we’re shipping updates to @Rippling AI that make it easier to deploy data connections, skills, and automations safely across your org. They’re available to every employee, but they’re managed centrally and they’re auditable.
Customers first
The hardest thing about building @harvey is doing what’s best for our customers despite immense pressure to do what’s easy.
The easy thing would have been to force our customers onto consumption pricing before they were ready and serve them worse models to protect our margins.
We chose to help our customers transition on a timeline that works for them and give them the best models in the meantime, even though it hurt our margins.
This meant optimizing our product through routing, harness improvements, and post-training so we could serve frontier intelligence at an affordable price.
It also meant building the infrastructure for customers to monitor and manage spend: usage dashboards, per-matter cost attribution, spend caps, and ROI reporting.
As a result, we improved our gross margins from -50% to positive in a single quarter despite usage doubling month over month and continuing to serve the best models.
Our philosophy is simple: do what’s best for our customers, even when it’s painful, hurts our margins, or draws criticism from competitors, X, and the press.
We believe the most important part of building a company is earning and keeping your customers’ trust. You do that by doing the hard thing for them, even when it costs you.

Proud of the @Saronic team and the work behind this award. We're building Port Alpha to bring American shipbuilding back with speed and scale. This award is a real step forward in delivering for today’s fleet while building the hybrid fleet of tomorrow.
We’re excited to announce that Saronic has been awarded a U.S. Navy contract to build Landing Craft Utility (LCU) vessels at Port Alpha, our next-generation shipyard in Brownsville, Texas.
Capable of transporting troops, vehicles, and up to 170 tons of cargo directly to beaches and unimproved shorelines, LCUs are essential to amphibious operations, resupply, and disaster-response missions.
As Port Alpha’s first build, this program marks an important step toward expanding America’s maritime industrial capacity. It also advances our mission to deliver the vessels the Navy needs today while building toward an autonomous maritime future.
Production is expected to begin in 2028, with initial deliveries planned for 2029. Read the full announcement: medium.com/saronic-technolog…

Thrilled to be joining Harvey and working in an area that's so integral to society.
AI is a transformative technology, but realizing its potential requires going deep in specific domains and working in close partnership with the professionals who live and breathe that work. Legal is an especially rich and consequential place to do that.
Harvey's progress, combined with the rapidly maturing ecosystem of open-weight models and post-training infrastructure, creates an enormous opportunity to push the frontier and make AI transformative in practice.
We're building out Harvey's founding research team and hiring across post-training skill sets for people who want to work at the intersection of research and product. If that's you, please reach out.
We're excited to welcome @asadovsky as our Chief Research Officer.
Prior to Harvey, Adam co-led post-training at Microsoft AI and Google DeepMind.
As CVP at Microsoft AI, he led post-training of MAI-Thinking-1.
As a Distinguished Engineer at Google DeepMind, he led teams working on Gemini 1.0 through Gemini 2.5.
Earlier at Google, he led teams working on Assistant, Search Quality, and Search Infrastructure.

Excited to announce that @profound has raised a $180M Series D led by @sequoia and @kleinerperkins.
AI was quick to transform verifiable domains like software engineering. It is now doing the same across every vertical.
Profound is diffusing AI into the marketing org at the enterprise level.
This opportunity, to redefine one of the world's largest and most interesting industries, is once in a lifetime. We will not waste it.
AI is fundamentally reshaping how consumers discover products and in turn, how marketers do their work.
@dbabbs @thejamescad and the @profound team saw this early and have been building the foundational agentic AI platform for the future of marketing with incredible speed.
Thrilled to quadruple down and co-lead Profound’s Series D with our friends at @sequoia 🚀
Excited to share @profound has raised a $180M Series D, co-led by @sequoia and @kleinerperkins.
Winning in AI Search requires an inhuman amount of work. That is why we are building the AI platform for marketers, underpinned by two things:
1/ Your AI Marketer, a marketing expert that proactively investigates your data, identifies opportunities, and then does the work while you stay in the loop.
2/ Context Manager, a living synthesis of your meetings, email threads, and brand data powering this new teammate. As your brand evolves, so does your AI Marketer.
AI labs are pushing the frontier in fields like engineering, law, and finance. But marketing, one of the economy's most complex and consequential applications, has received far less attention.
That’s why we’re expanding our applied AI research team. We’re bringing together research scientists, engineers, and IOI medalists to advance AI for marketing. Their focus: post-training models for marketing workflows, and building the world's first AI benchmark for real-world tasks in the field.
Nice to see quantum mechanics getting formalized @Dirk_Englund !

Incredible focus and relentless execution. It’s still early. Congratulations @gabepereyra @winstonweinberg and entire @harvey team!
We’ve raised $550M at a $15.5B valuation, led by @DiffusionVC and @LightSpeedVP.
We’ve crossed $400M in ARR and serve 3,000 customers, including 80% of the top 100 law firms, 20% of the Fortune 500, and half of the Fortune 10.
We are investing the capital from this round into our two most important resources: people and compute.
Our product is expanding into new verticals and more specialized solutions for areas like contracting, litigation, deals, and compliance.
As usage grows, we’re investing heavily in inference and model training to deliver frontier legal intelligence at the best possible price.
Building on Tenet, our first model post-trained on open-weight models, this round will let us scale the compute and data behind future generations of our models.
We believe the most successful application-layer companies will become full-stack AI companies, building across applications, agents, and models.
Becoming a full-stack AI company will help our customers own more of their intelligence and build their vision of a frontier legal organization.
We’re also grateful to @Sequoia, @KleinerPerkins , @A16Z , @CoatueMgmt, @Conviction, @EladGil, Evantic, GIC, @GoldmanSachs, Sapphire Ventures and Whale Rock for participating in the round and backing that vision.
