Portrait of the director of Bitter Foraging (2022) USA/UK, Golden Gonzales-Palmer is a documentary filmmaker, currently based in London. Since a very young age, Golden has been making short films centering on the overlooked and unheard stories of those around her. Now, the filmmaker is very dedicated to using the genre of documentary as a form of social justice, focusing mostly on documenting important cultural and community practices of marginalized groups.
