When my first AI book was published in 2024, the best AI could do 4 minutes of human work with a 50% chance of success
When I turned in the draft of Co-Existence earlier this year, it was 17 hours
When it was published two days ago, AI could do 17 weeks open.substack.com/pub/oneuse…
Starting next week, sessions across Claude web, desktop, and mobile apps will run in auto mode by default on Pro, Max, and Team plans.
Rather than asking you to approve each step, an automated check blocks risky actions. Switch back to manual anytime.

Jensen closed his GTC Berlin 2026 keynote with this Hermes Agent demo as the finale.
He introduced it by saying the way to build an agent is to ask an agent to build it for you, so he installed and set up a customized Hermes in one prompt.
Then he used Hermes, running on @nvidia RTX Spark, to create a simulated training environment for the @huggingface Microduck. Hermes planned an obstacle course with Nemotron and had GPT-6 Astra build it using FreeCAD, Omniverse libraries, Blender, Newton, and Isaac Lab. Hermes trained thousands of simulated ducks on that course until the validated policy was ready to run on the real robot in the physical world.
At Nous, we believe open source is a practical tool as much as a philosophical ideal. It gives users the ability to build powerful, complex workflows chaining numerous local+cloud models, devices, and tools themselves instead of waiting for a company to enable them.

SF voters on robotaxis:
Sept 2023: 44% support, 51% oppose
July 2025: 67% support, 29% oppose
What changed? People rode them.
Robotaxi opposition peaks before anyone has ridden. D.C., New York and Massachusetts are deciding at peak fear and minimum experience.

THIS is very close to my position on Elon.
Musk is a genius mind. I also tell people he's the Edison of our time (21st century).
Then, people laugh because they quote all the stupid shit Elon says on political issues.
His political sense is horrific. That's all.
Replying to @spiroskaye @elonmusk
I'm definitely not anti-achievement and never criticized real achievements, including by Elon.
I even own two Teslas.
I do expose marketing stunts that, while cool on the surface, are not the achievements they are claimed to be.
Compressed air thrusters might give you acceleration boosts in any direction.
They might even make your car hover for a couple of seconds if you accept replacing the passenger seat by a 400 liter high-pressure air tank.
But they are not a path to actual flying cars.
The same way Burt Rutan's SpaceshipOne was never going to be a path to orbital flights (just bunny hops out of the atmosphere).
I am anti-Musk when it comes to politics. His political actions, the massive dissemination of disinformation through X and other channels, and his support for authoritarian regimes and racist ideas have the effect of weakening democracy and weakening human decency and social progress around the world.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy told Ben Horowitz (co-founder a16z) that Amazon is out of compute until beyond 2028
Ben thinks this is not like the dot-com bubble: back then the network was built before there were enough users, while in AI there is more demand than anyone can supply.

BREAKING NEWS🚨: @Inferact & Google submit their FIRST preliminary TPUv7 Kimi K3 2.8T Model Submission, and it is already delivering strong perf per TCO against GB200 NVL72, B300, and MI355 in the ultra-high-interactivity regime due to their megakernel approach for external customers.
One of the most important aspects of an external compute platform is a strong community, and what makes this submission special is that Inferact (Makers of vLLM) led the submission end to end using the TorchTPU vLLM stack.👇️(1/6)🧵

A consequential choice will be made soon by government and companies as they are increasingly flooded with agentic AI inquiries that overcome the frictions that gated access (see the graphs - it has already started!)
Two options: do you make services worse or better as a result?
