🗓️ Later today, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq will visit Here East at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The Sultan will receive an overview of Here East as a leading example of place-based transformation, & one of the world’s most successful post-Olympic regeneration projects. In 2014, the former Media Centre for the 2012 Games was reinvented & developed into a thriving economic hub. His Majesty will then view an SME & industry showcase spanning energy & renewables, technology, space & defence inside Plexal, the innovation company & workspace established within Here East to support business growth, adoption & scaling of strategic technologies. Sultan Haitham will depart from Stansted Airport at the conclusion of the State Visit.
