On Election Day, before the polls closed, I joined Making Money with @cvpayne Payne on @foxbusiness to talk about the midterm elections and the future of the Democratic Party.
For four decades, I’ve been focused on building my real estate business. But I’ve also tried to make an impact by mentoring others and finding ways to lift up communities and those around me.
I’ve always stayed involved in politics because I love this country and care about leaving the next generation a better future than the one we inherited. As I saw firsthand with many of the members of Congress I worked for and presidents I supported, the right leaders can do an extraordinary amount of good for our country.
The recent midterm results show an electorate desperate for something new. Only time will tell if those elected can deliver on this mandate, and I hope they do.
Democrats are still leaving a lot on the table when it comes to inspiring candidates. We need someone whose love for this country inspires them to bring Americans together and move us toward a more perfect union as we write our next great chapter.
My hope for 2028 is that the Democratic Party has a competitive process to find the right person for this moment, with the experience to actually deliver.

Even with $AMZN taking a short-term hit after missing Q3 top- and bottom-line estimates ($1.89 EPS vs $1.96 consensus; $201.9B revenue), my underlying long-term bull thesis remains exceptionally intact.

90% of people I know on Facebook will repost anything that appeals to their own biases. No critical thinking, no self discovery with no process of due diligence. I don’t trust any of them.
I’ve learned to never engage in an argument that doesn’t benefit me personally. Not a celebrity, not a political figure just me.
