The Left on the internet is once again exploiting a tragedy, circulating posts that call for restrictions on civilian firearm ownership. The shooter in Kraków held a license for two weapons, which has sparked a debate about bans—based on the logic that "he had a permit..."
An arsenal consisting of more than two weapons was discovered in his car. He possessed more firearms than his permit allowed; therefore, he was, logically, holding them ILLEGALLY.
Videos from the start of the shooting clearly capture the sound of gunfire from a fully automatic weapon. Such weapons are prohibited in Poland. An ordinary private citizen cannot legally acquire fully automatic weapons; it is illegal for private individuals to carry or transport them. Consequently, the shooter inflicted the majority of the casualties using a weapon he held ILLEGALLY.
The situation is further complicated by the media landscape, which fails to mention this obvious fact. Instead, the media has been clamoring with excitement over the revelation that the shooter was fascinated by "far-right ideology"—a narrative first introduced by a left-wing prime minister who, just a week earlier, orchestrated a constitutional coup in his own country.
I wish all the survivors of today's attack in Krakow a quick recovery! ♥️🇵🇱♥️
