The job market is an absolute disaster right now, and I feel for you guys.
We recently posted a marketing role and the calibre of applicants has been insane. C-levels from what we considered tier-1 chains and projects, people I would have assumed were untouchable.
Some are genuinely overqualified (never thought I'd say that), the role pays less than half of what they're used to, and they're still keen.
My DMs are full of friends asking for an interview, people I thought were doing really well. I'm not even the one hiring for this role.
Not sure if it's AI eating jobs or just a terrible economy, but it's rough out there. If you're going through interview after interview and not landing anything, it's not you. The market is just shit right now. Hang in there.

⚠️ A message to anyone caught in the Revolut leak ⚠️
If you got the notification, assume your name is now on a list of people worth robbing.
I was the victim of a home invasion after being targeted through a similar leak. Take this seriously. Alarm system, reinforced entry points, panic buttons, a safe room if you can manage it, legal self-defence options where you live. All of that on top of normal wallet opsec.
Physical security is the part crypto people skip.

Everyone wants to talk about the next 22-year-old founder who built a $100M company.
I want to hear more stories about the 42-year-old who spent 15 years in an industry, saw the same problem 500 times, and finally decided to fix it.
Experience is an unfair advantage.
We should treat it like one.

Finished the @shefiorg Career Class with @lagunacarta and @inks and I’m actually so glad I joined.
Biggest takeaway: market yourself!
Being good at what you do means little if nobody knows you do it.
Def taking that personally 😂
Thank you @MaggieLove for creating SheFi ❤️

your audience thinks you’re lying before you’ve even opened your mouth.
so if you’re strategy is “post more, hype harder”, you’re losing.
in next week’s workshop, find out crypto’s trust problem is different, two mistakes you may be making to worsen the problem and learn @inks’s practical framework to actually earn credibility and beat your audience’s suspicion.

1/ Spotlight on, pls 💜
Today we're chatting with @alieneliane - 11 years in marketing. 4 years in crypto. 0 plans to stop building.
Our sis went from "Solana looked so fun. I wanted to be part of that." to entering her builder arc at @dev3pack & @colosseum, where Future You was born: an app helping you stay consistent without the shame spiral.
Her convo with @inks will probably make you wanna ship. Watch at your own risk!

how to land your first crypto job (from women who've actually done it):
1. stop waiting until you "know enough." nobody in crypto knows enough. the space moves faster than any single person can learn. start contributing now.
2. your web2 skills are your superpower. marketing, design, ops, finance, writing - crypto projects are desperate for people who can actually execute, not just talk about tokenomics.
3. build in public. share what you're learning. write a thread about a protocol you're exploring. the bar is lower than you think and the visibility compounds fast.
4. join communities that share opportunities. not just job boards - actual group chats where people say "hey my team is hiring." (this is literally what our Telegram does.)
5. go to events. IRL connections still close more deals and land more jobs than any cold DM. even small side events count - that's where real relationships happen.
6. don't let "crypto bro culture" scare you away. the space needs you more than you need it. and communities like Sol Sisters exist to make sure you're not navigating it alone.
bookmark this. share it with a friend who needs to hear it 💜
