Your white collar job is cooked. It’s not if, it’s when. “They’ll still need a person.” Sure. But they won’t need that person full time. One person, likely in the top 1–5% of their field, will fill that role for multiple businesses as a contractor. Start building your own thing on the side, or join a business that’s preparing for this future.

My full take on the situation here: teapaw.org/Memesandmkts/status/21…
Lula wins a fourth term as Brazil's president after his odds fell as low as 10%. He lost the first round to Flavio Bolsonaro and came back to win the runoff, the first candidate to do that since 1985. Bolsonaro is refusing to concede after voting hours were extended. M&M News

it was truly quite a phenomenon what the local politicians were able to do to rally people on the left after the first vote went poorly for them. A politician named Andre Janones a deputado in Minas Gerais (like a state rep) rallied MILLIONS of followers on IG and helped to fill a whatsapp group of supporters called "Lula's Army". Wild.

I've spent the majority of my time in major cities with universities and mostly left-leaning populations. So my experience is very biased. People on the left are obviously very happy that they were able to turn it around and I truly haven't been around enough of the other side

Voting got extended because cities were shutting down bus routes.

As someone who's been living in Brazil myself for the past 4 months, I find it so fascinating to see how many people have such a strong opinion on what's best for the country after having never stepped a foot on the soil 😂

From first principles, why would an extension to vote be problematic? Wouldn't you want as many people to be able to cast their vote as possible? Then there's the idea that busses were halted to prevent people from being able to vote in certain cities. Would that not justify an extension? And is this just false?

This video is going viral on other social platforms, but on X... 400 impressions. Ironically, here is where I found the most propaganda. Check your sources, consume media from multiple sources and challenge the things you see. Please! It's so important.
New technology is breeding new propaganda. I dive into the massive amounts used during the French and wider European protests. What's the worst you've seen? "The propagandist's purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are human." - Aldous Huxley
