Today, I’m officially an AWS Hero in Serverless category. I’m grateful for this recognition of my technical and community contributions. And as I look back, I think of all the people who helped me get here. I haven't done this alone. Its people who made this. This journey wouldn’t have been possible without my wife’s @TruptiDalvi2 support and sacrifices. She has been there through the time, effort, and commitments that community work asks of us. Today is also her birthday, which makes this moment even more special. I may have received the Hero title, but she is my real hero. Thank you to my family for supporting me throughout this journey. And to everyone in the AWS community: thank you. Some of you gave me honest feedback. Some pushed me to go deeper, gave me opportunities, shared your knowledge, or helped when I needed it. Every one of those moments made a difference. I’m keeping individual names out of this thank-you because there are so many, and I don’t want to miss anyone. Please know that I remember your support. We’ve made this journey together. My father is no longer with us, but his words stay with me: “Keep helping people throughout your journey.” I shared those words on stage at the AWS Community Summit in Bangkok long back. Today, I wish I could share this moment with him. I believe he’s watching from above, seeing my progress and the work I continue to do. Congratulations to the other newly announced AWS Heroes! XIAOFEI LI Joanne Skiles, PhD It’s an honour to share this milestone with you. I’ll write a separate blog about the journey later because we see only these title but there so much behind the scene work. For today, I just want to thank everyone who has been part of it. There’s more to learn, more to share, and more people to help. Thanks to whole Amazon Web Services (AWS) Community, DA team. Everyone one of you helped me whenever I asked for.
