January is National Mentoring Month 🌟
Mentoring is about connection, guidance, and belief. It’s a supportive relationship where someone with experience listens, encourages, and helps another person build confidence, skills, and direction in life. We’re proud to offer mentoring for young people* and adults, supporting personal growth, wellbeing, education, and career goals.
We’re looking for volunteer mentors - if you’re a good listener, care about your community, and want to make a real difference, mentoring could be for you. A little time can have a lasting impact. To find out more, contact our amazing Mentoring team at [email protected].

Thank you so much for sharing Emma! Bowling, fun and lots of laughs sounds the perfect way to end the mentoring journey. Thank you for volunteering your time to mentor ❤️

@intandemScot Young person ended their mentoring journey today the same way it began, with a game of bowling. We ended the session with a big belly laugh at how much their bowling skills have improved during that time 🤣🫶🏻

Absolutely delighted to join the @ysortit celebrations at the West Dunbartonshire VIVA Awards last night! Huge congratulations to @CallumYSortIt & all the amazing young people from our youth forum, InVoice, who were finalists. You’re all incredible! #YouthVoice
It’s just the little things - a walk in the park, a chat over hot chocolate, a listening ear. These moments build trust and confidence for young people in Scotland. Could you give a couple of hours a week to mentor a young person and make a big difference? 💙 #mentor
What a great day catching up with all Intandem's partner organisations this week. Lots of laughs, learning and connection. Thank you to all Coordinators and Managers who work so hard to provide Intandem mentoring across Scotland #Mentoring
It’s #CareExperiencedWeek2025! This year’s theme is Rights - we’re celebrating every child’s right to play. At Intandem, mentors & young people meet weekly to have fun, try new things & connect. 📸Check out “This is My Day” showcasing happy mentoring moments - rights in action!
Today is National Mentoring Day! At Intandem, we see every day how powerful mentoring can be - not because mentors have all the answers, but because they show up, listen, and offer consistent support.

Today is #NationalMentoringDay – an opportunity to recognise the difference that a caring and consistent adult can make to a young person’s life.
