Remember the war in southern Lebanon? It never stopped. The ceasefire is on paper, the strikes never left, Hezbollah is rebuilding and re-arming, and through 2026 that front has been heating back up, NOT cooling down. If you are wondering how that connects to Iran, the US, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, it is one design, and the design has a name... Iran calls it FORWARD DEFENCE, or the FRIST LINE OF DEFENCE. The purpose is to keep war OFF Iranian soil and fight it on someone else's... it is EXTREMELY effective as a strategy... Iran CANNOT trade blows with Israel, America and the Gulf on even terms, and it will NOT and does NOT want to let its own cities become the battlefield, so it builds the battlefield somewhere else. It keeps a ring of allied forces positioned around its enemies, each one a lever it can press without ever putting an Iranian flag on the trigger. 1. Hezbollah, aka the "Party of God", is the lever on Israel, worked from Lebanon. 2. Ansarallah Houthis, aka the "Supporters of God", are the lever on Saudi Arabia and the Red Sea, worked from Yemen. It is the SAME hand working TWO pressure points in TWO theatres for one purpose, to keep its enemies busy, bleeding and distracted far from Iran, and to keep EVERY move deniable enough that Tehran can turn it up or down like a dial as the battle changes. This is Iran's response to the United States CENTRAL COMMAND model (CENTCOM model). Each one is meant to counter CENTCOM and the local governments... This is cost-imposing warfare. A few thousand fighters and a stockpile of cheap drones, modern ballistic missiles, rockets and other tools tie down the reserves of Israel and the air defences of Saudi Arabia for years, at a fraction of what the other side spends to hold the line, and none of it falls on an Iranian city.
