Episode 2 of The House of Amun is here!
It's been incredible bringing ancient Egypt back to life and creating this world one scene at a time.
This episode follows the young King Tutankhamun as his declining health threatens his reign, and those around him begin to question his strength.
Made entirely with Seedance 2.5.

Based on the fall of the Young King Tutankhamun.

I’ve been obsessed with ancient Egypt my whole life, so making this was equal parts dream project and a challenge.
We’re now in a world where one person can make a prestige historical series from home.
Seedance 2.5 and Japanese Horror is a match made in heaven. Here is SLIT - An AI Japanese Short Horror Film
The Buffalo Soldiers carry an amazing part of American history many people never get to learn about. Here is Milk Creek, based on the true story of Henry Johnson. Made with Seedance 2.5.
Sometimes love comes in the shape of a 20 foot woman.
THE TWENTY FOOT WOMAN, a short AI horror film, made entirely in Seedance 2.5.
This will be the scariest video you watch today! I took Seedance 2.5 for a drive and was blown away by the way it brings cinematic horror to life. Here is The Other Woman, a short horror film.
After a human extinction event, two animals form an unlikely friendship in the ruins of New York City. Here is STRAYS, a full AI short film.
One of my favorite uses for AI is bringing lost stories back to life. This is The Divine Grove, based on the ancient Irish myth The Wooing of Étaín, first recorded in 1106 AD.

Google is investing $75M into A24 as part of an AI research partnership between the 2 companies.
They will look at using AI to create new tools for movie production & distribution.

Seedance 2 is still changing the game.
I experimented with different AI animation styles and built a fully animated AI short film based on Edgar Allan Poe's The Tell-Tale Heart.
Another episode i had the chance to direct with @primordialsoup_ and our amazing team! now on youtube!

We’re on the bleeding edge of the razor, pushing hard into the AI abysss
It's not comfortable at all, but that's why it's so exciting

i’m sharing today’s episode of On This Day… 1776, because i am amazed at the progress our team at Primordial Soup has made in the last four months. but first - why did we start this project in the first place? why put ourselves in the spotlight, knowing there would be pushback? generative models and tools have developed at lightning speed in recent years, and their potential as storytelling instruments has become undeniable. so in january, we kicked off the this project to release 30 episodes over one calendar year, in order to track and demonstrate the progress of these models and how artists are learning to wield them.
if you compare our first episode in january with today’s drop, it’s hard to ignore the advancements. it is still not cinema with a capital C. but it is, without a doubt, storytelling.
at this moment in time, when our collective attention spans are bombarded with 8-second clips of nonsense, it is paramount that we invent new ways to explore longform narrative. On This Day… 1776 is doing just that. it also employs scores of artists, writers, producers, and SAG actors collaborating to figure out how to harness the tools. the future is unknown, but as artists we need to lean in and be a part of shaping it. i can't wait for you to see our july 4th drop celebrating america’s birthday.

I recently directed an episode titled Enemy of My Enemy at Darren Aronofsky's Primordial Soup Labs, a massive collaborative effort involving writers, producers, and SAG actors fluent in French.
A huge thank you to Darren and the entire team at @primordialsoup_ for welcoming me into this journey. Watch the episode now on YouTube, link in the comments!
