This one's a little harder to share. I love building, more than is healthy, and I learnt that the hard way. I've lost a lot of myself in the process, and I'm slowly finding my way back. I wanted to share that part of my journey too, not just the wins.

What if someone emails your agent and tells it to ignore everything you said?
Today I’m launching molted.email 🥳
Every email is scanned for prompt injections. You control the rules, and your agent can only change them to make them stricter.
Free to start. Bring your own domain on Solo for $5/month for the first 3 months with BEANMAIL at checkout. Limited to 20 uses.
Would your agent know who to trust?
First sale at $149 🥹🥹🥹
And on a slow day like this? Look at that revenue per visitor 🤩🔥

I think we've got the whole X growth strategy backwards.
I've had 3 conversations in the replies today that gave me better post ideas than anything I sat down to write.
We're constantly told to reply to grow our followers.
But I think we're missing the bigger picture.
A reply sparks an idea.
That becomes a post.
That post sparks more conversations.
And the cycle continues.
Maybe we've been looking at replies all wrong.
Stop replying just to grow your audience. Start replying because your audience might actually teach you something.

Something I don't say out loud very often.
TheCozyDev hasn't made me any money yet.
Not from the apps.
Not from the kit I made for other devs.
Nothing so far.
I build after my 9–5 because I love it.
But some evenings I sit down and the little voice says,
"what if nobody actually wants this?"
This week I nearly started three new ideas, hoping one of them would be the one that finally did something other than just exist.
Then I stopped.
I'm going back to the apps I already have and one new app that means a lot to me personally.
I don't have a success story to share yet.
Just a real one.
If you're building something and it hasn't paid off yet, you're not behind. You're just still in the middle 💜

Carpooling is nice
but on occasion, you need to share a limo with some friends
Shared Super Drop is just that, cheaper than going alone, but in style
3x 92 DR including USA Today
$688 in 6 days
but before that, 15 days of silence
that silence came after I publicly announced that I'm going to make $2k this month
every day, I kept trying something new
every day I failed
until one day I didn't
did I think about quitting? absolutely!
did I think about starting a new project? more than once!
did I stop trying new stuff? fortunately not!
and most importantly, every day I kept working on my SEO, so that one day I wouldn't have to come up with something new all the time
I might even have a chance to hit that $2k mark, but even if I didn't, overcoming that period of silence was the growth journey I needed

Yesterday I was questioning whether I could finish wumbl. Today I gave it a smaller finish line.
Since 4pm:
🟢Agreed a clear Mac V1 scope and parked the extras.
🟢Improved game-save recovery and accessibility.
🟢Cleared compiler warnings, with successful builds and 581 passing unit tests.
🟢Checked sound, image exports, focus sessions and what survives closing and reopening the app.
🟢Audited the existing 80-page Ship Your App Kit and mapped out its next additions.
🟢Created two App Review checklists, including a free version.
Wumbl still has testing ahead, but I can see a path towards releasing it now.
Thank you to everyone who reminded me yesterday that I don’t have to ship the whole vision at once. I needed that more than I realised 💜

Replying to @DrewWakefield5 @isjackback

Today's been an epic day 🚀
And now there are 900+ of you 🥹🥹🥹
Thank you, let's keep building together and pushing eachother to succeed! 🫰
THERE IT IS and the last one couldn’t have gone to a better founder! 💯🚀
Shared Drop is now $39 for 6 more droppers before we settle at $49
I want to keep it accessible and value packed so it will stay at $49
Looking forward to get the next shared drop out there and these indie products on the news 🔥
Before @isjackback has even seen this, I've just snapped up the last $29 shared press release on pressdrop.io
I've had my eye on it since Jack first launched, but I've been holding off because I couldn't decide which of my builds to use it for.
Well, I've paid for it now, so that's one way to give myself a kick up the arse to actually finish something 😂
Jack's already seeing his own product get picked up by ChatGPT, using PressDrop itself. That's pretty cool.
The price has now gone up to $49, which I still think is an absolute bargain.
And here's something I've been thinking about...
We'll happily spend hundreds on AI tools and subscriptions to build our apps, but how much are we actually willing to spend getting people to discover them?
What's the point in building something nobody knows exists?
I've got to know Jack through X, I consider him a friend now, and I'm genuinely happy to support what he's building.
We spend so much time talking about supporting indie builders. Sometimes that means actually getting your wallet out.
Now I just need to finish the bloody app.
