🇺🇸🔥 So honored to be selected for the @villa_albertine Residency 2026 !
This is my first AI-agent-powered editing interface, built for my feature film.
I created it because I needed a better way to work with raw footage.
I'm working with both AI agents and human film editors. They complement each other.
I'll open source it asap ! 🧵
4/5
Fourteen editor agents cut the material blind, each briefed on a real film editor's method.
Their cuts sit as extra lanes : a second opinion. Where they all cut, where nobody does, where I disagree.
Built with @claudeai over a few nights.
@GeminiApp listens to the tape. Claude, @Kimi_Moonshot, @deepseek_ai , @ChatGPT and @grok cut it as editor agents. Open source does the rest : Parakeet for transcription, PANNs for background sounds.
How do you log long interviews for feature films ? 5/5
Performing Filmmaking Real-time is what caught my attention. Walking Simulators are cool but I expect more for the videogame part.
Excited to share Genie 4 today our most realistic and interactive world model:
- steer dynamic environments in real time, shaping events, camera angles, and actions
- generate native audio matched to the world, from realistic background sounds to characters who can converse in real time!
- simulate photorealistic scenes and real-world physics
- create more coherent multi-step events through reasoning from Gemini
We've started to roll out as a research preview to trusted testers. Coming soon to Google AI Ultra subscribers in Project Genie and early access partners via the Gemini API and AI Studio.
2027 will liquify everything.
Software. Writing. Gaming. Music. Filmmaking.
Everything becomes fluid.
This is beautiful, and it’s one of my favorite games of all time.
I have 18 years of feature film editing experience and while I think 80% of the process will be automatized, we are far from it. Because this work needs to be done by film editors, not engineers. But assistant editing work (if you don't consider them as creative) is done in slow mode
