3. API and Middleware Integration:
Modern banking infrastructure exposes SWIFT or ISO 20022-compliant data via REST APIs or webhooks. A PHP-backed backend application often acts as the middleware that consumes these APIs, translates JSON payloads into ISO 20022 XML, or vice-versa
Developers use PHP to map database records (like invoices or user payouts) into compliant ISO 20022 XML formats, or to parse incoming bank statements
2. Parsing and Generating XML Payloads:
ISO 20022 messages (MX messages) are fundamentally structured as complex XML documents adhering to strict XML Schemas (XSD). PHP natively excels at handling XML via libraries
1.Corporate-to-Bank (C2B) and B2B Portals:
Many fintech applications, corporate treasury portals, and invoicing systems are built on PHP (using frameworks like Laravel or Symfony). Businesses use these platforms to generate payment initiation requests
This is not good.
