The Kingdom looks forward to the parties to the crisis engaging positively and constructively with the outcomes of this visit and with the ongoing efforts by Qatar and Pakistan to resolve the crisis through dialogue and diplomacy, stressing the importance of opening channels for negotiations in order to prevent a return to military escalation in the region and pave the way toward reaching an agreement that ends the crisis and achieves security and peace in the region and the world. The Kingdom reaffirms its emphasis on the pivotal role of the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement in supporting the security and stability of the region and working with all states to ensure the achievement of peace in the region and the world.
