After an exciting start to the year (lil company exit), I'm looking for my next opportunity!
I've spent the last 3 years running a creative production studio, crafting campaigns centered around both scripted and unscripted video content for B2B brands
Primarily looking for in-house marketing roles at companies where content, video and experimentation with new formats + tools are core to strategy
Would love to chat and connect with any working in new media, storytelling or marketing! DMs open 🙏

For my sports people
This is the equivalent of the Rams signing Myles Garrett
Just world class talent on an insane team
after a year as an independent creator, i'm joining @openai
imagining the future is how we create it
we need to expand who gets to imagine and what becomes possible. those are the stories i’m here to tell
if you're an artist, storyteller or maker, i'd love to hear from you 🫶🏼
Dr.Squatch’s latest campaign with @ishowspeedsui is modern marketing at its finest
Instead of over-investing in traditional media, pay creators (relative) pennies on the dollar for guaranteed product purchases and infinite social distribution upside
Cubs fans wanted the team to address their bullpen but got a rom com instead 😂
Regardless I think it’s a smart move by the Cubs 👇🏼
JUST IN: The Chicago Cubs are releasing their own romantic comedy series on social media.
NINE INNINGS TO LOVE will follow two young fans who meet in the bleachers and spark a special connection.
The series will feature 17 short form episodes, all produced by the team’s creative arm Cubs Productions.
It premieres on September 4th on the @Cubs TikTok. ⚾️ ♥️
The biggest social media trap for brands right now is believing you can win the hearts and minds of Gen Z with a social show by using any word that ends with "maxxing" and casting an (any?) influencer
Case in point - CeraVe's latest series promoting their mineral sunscreen
The insights that inspired the campaign are great (i.e., google searches for "tanning" highest in 5 years, over 1/5 of Gen Z prioritize getting a tan )
But I believe the execution is lacking for a few reasons:
1) the idea seems out of touch and tangential (an underserved and needy sorority gets their house renovated?)
2) no cultural exploration - if college-aged young adults are the target demo why isn't this story being told through their eyes and world? maybe this is to come, but the first episode / teaser should have had this
3) lacks the hyper self-awareness that makes the best social content of today so poignant. Some of the unhinged moments (smashing a tanning bed) feel forced
This is all to say @milkkarten is always oh so timely with her posts - her latest talks about why brands need social shows and the potential pitfalls. highly recommend!

Incredible trend on IG with “learn with me” style content - where a topic is assigned randomly, timeboxed research, and presented to viewer all within ~1 min and on camera
As close as you can get to “live” content without actually being live
Checks off many boxes for A+ content (BTS, educational, etc)
Organic social creativity is at an all-time high
This account @ fired.from.tv is an apparent PA-turned-actor that was fired from the show ‘Adults’. He shares his experience by showing clips he recorded of his cringey interactions with the cast
Real or not, just an incredibly unique way to drum up interest and conversation for the show
Anyone know who’s behind this?
