This moment barely lasted a second. Two people, unknown to each other, looking out at the Statue of Liberty as the sun fell behind them. No posing, no setup, just a quiet pause shared between strangers 🌅 #HasselbladMoments Shot on: @hasselblad X2D 100C & XCD 75P

> palm sized > screenless > mic, camera, speaker ideas are never wrong, just early
🤖 OpenAI and Jony Ive are building a palm sized, screenless AI assistant targeted for 2026, but core software, privacy, and compute are not ready yet. per FT report. The device listens and sees the environment through a mic, camera, and speaker, stays always on, and the team has not nailed how its voice should talk or stop. OpenAI bought Ive’s io for $6.5B and has pulled in 20+ ex Apple hardware staff, while manufacturing talks include Luxshare, with assembly possibly outside China. Compute is the biggest blocker because running multimodal chat at scale needs huge inference capacity, and OpenAI already struggles to serve peak ChatGPT demand. Continuous sensing that builds a user memory creates hard privacy choices about when to capture, what to store, and how to delete or process locally. The market is unforgiving, as the Humane AI Pin was shut down and offloaded to HP, and the Friend AI pendant drew backlash for being creepy and for constant listening. OpenAI now carries a $500B valuation, so a strong hardware hit would help, but supplier chatter suggests first devices could slip toward 2026 or 2027. The assistant must deliver low latency speech, clean turn taking, useful visual detection, and lean memory, all under tight cost and power. --- ft .com/content/58b078be-e0ab-492f-9dbf-c2fe67298dd3

Architecture has always amazed me 🤍Whether stepping inside to see the grand design or just passing by on the street 🚶‍♂️, these structures are part of the stories we live in. Shot on: @hasselblad X2D 100C & XCD 75P

Every skyline tells a story, but New York demands to be seen in detail. A city built for scale, captured in clarity 🌆

Walked into @AllegiantStadm with a @Hasselblad — had to try. Shot from my seat at the B-stage. No pass, no access. Just pure atmosphere. 100 megapixels of chaos. @theweeknd brought the vision. I tried to keep up 🌆🏟️🎶 @MementoMoriXO

It’s funny how every time someone is comparing a piece of tech to their phone they feel the need to take their phone out or gesture to their pocket It’s me, I’m someone

The iPhone cannot be Apple’s AI device Too many people use it for them to change the experience substantially for what AI could be.

one week since ai pin was powered down. now, every day, an iphone has to be found and juggled just to maybe—maybe not—get the information needed. removed from the present, so much time lost. nothing like ai pin exists. @humane should’ve raised $1B.

There was a glimpse of a future—one where we were present.
Where connection wasn’t something we checked, but something we felt.
Where the world itself became the interface. For a moment, it felt possible.
A way of seeing, of listening, of being.
A quiet shift toward something more human. But today, the glow is too familiar, too easy. Attention stretched thin, minds weighed down, breaths quicken in the chase for more—more updates, more noise, more of what never lasts. The work done at Humane was nothing short of inspiring. A vision that reimagined how we could exist with technology. I’m grateful to have seen it, to have lived it, even for a moment. Some futures take time to be understood. Maybe one day, we’ll find our way back. Thank you, Team @Humane, for daring to ask, what if?
And to @imranchaudhri and @bella_bongiorno —for showing us what that the future isn’t just something we wait for, but something we imagine into being.

Still get goosebumps looking at the vision @humane had. Sharing Ryan Staake’s director’s cut as it feels even more fitting now. The journey for Ai Pin took an unexpected turn, but it was a bold step toward rethinking how we interact with technology. Looking forward to seeing what’s next with CosmOS. Massive respect to @imranchaudhri and @bella_bongiorno for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Thanks for the package @Humane! Since day one, AI Pin has been part of my routine. It doesn’t interfere, yet when I need something, it’s just a tap. That’s how tech should be—seamless, not distracting, and enhancing the moment. I’ll continue supporting this mighty company!
