JUST IN: Six Flags Magic Mountain is permanently closing their X2 roller coaster after reports of people suffering severe brain injuries on the ride. In a statement today, @SFMagicMountain said: “While X2 consistently passed a multitude of safety tests, we have decided to close the ride because we believe it’s the right thing to do. Ride safety is a cornerstone of our business, and when we see guest confidence affected, we take it seriously.” X2 opened in 2008 as the world’s first fourth dimension coaster with seats that rotate 360° forward and backward independently.

I flew out to New Hampshire all the way from San Diego last week in hopes of filming a documentary about Sasha and the place she lived at. Unfortunately, I was a week too late -- Sasha had past a week prior. She was loved by so many, esp. those in the furry and queer communities.
