Been making effects at Riot and Epic Games now for 10+ years and I have to say, the results we're getting now with ai in terms of quality, without touching the engine at all, rival what I would make by hand
I feel like the job is now, today, 99% art direction, 1% technical

We are at 1% of what AI gaming will lead to.
Making a ton of money making games used to be about Capital and technical abilities, plus a little cultural understanding.
Soon it will basically be all about the culture. Understanding what people want, and then making viral content playing that game.

🔥 img2threejs × GPT-6 Astra × Hyper3D
Live showcase: img2threejs.io/#/x/monster-t…
This is probably one of the most commercially valuable workflows I’ve tested so far.
Image → Hyper3D → img2threejs → GPT-6 Astra → Interactive Three.js experience.
1/ Hyper3D handles the 3D reconstruction.
2/ img2threejs turns that result into a structured workflow that an AI coding model can actually work with.
3/ And GPT-6 Astra follows the img2threejs pipeline - turning the reconstructed asset into a structured, editable, and interactive Three.js experience with animation, VFX, lighting, and application logic.
The important part isn’t just generating a 3D model, It’s what happens after the model exists.
Instead of ending with a static asset, you can continue building around it with code:
→ Games
→ Interactive product experiences
→ 3D websites
→ Character showcases
→ Virtual worlds
→ Rapid prototypes
3D generation becomes the beginning of the workflow - not the final output.
And when you combine high-quality reconstruction with an AI model capable of understanding and building the surrounding experience, the path from image → 3D → usable product becomes dramatically shorter.
This is exactly the direction I want to push img2threejs.
More experiments with @OpenAI GPT-6 Astra × @DeemosTech are coming this month. 👨🍳

We’re entering the AnsemHack Clawrena @clawpumptech Hackathon with Sentinel.
Sentinel is our ai integration for agentic players and is our vision for the future of gaming agents.
Players can deploy autonomous agents directly into the world creating characters that can act, interact, learn, and develop their own presence inside the game.
And soon, Clawpump agents will have access too, with one-click deployment coming 🧵👇
Open-sourced a FOMO wallet resolver:
- FOMO handle/profile → SOL + EVM wallet
- FOMO SOL wallet → verified EVM
- Local UI + CLI
- No signing or paid API
Seen people charge hundreds for this, so I’m making one of the methods public (theres more)

I’ve really enjoyed seeing everything people are building with @threejs, but I’ve always felt that we lacked a platform where you could easily discover all the incredible games and experiences being created.
So we built one.
With @_portals_, you can:
→ Host your games for free
→ Add multiplayer with free networking servers built in
→ Party up with friends and play games together
→ Integrate social features like voice chat and friends lists
→ Monetize through Stripe by selling games, assets, and cosmetics
→ Find assets, animations, VFX, templates, and more
→ Discover new games and connect with other creators
You can take your existing games and publish them to Portals instantly using our @OpenAI and @claudeai plugins:
- OpenAI: github.com/portals-labs/port…
- Claude: github.com/portals-labs/port…

Portals is becoming the hub for @threejs games.
Creators can use our SDK for hosting, multiplayer and monetization. It’s free to publish and you can sell your games!
You can explore a bunch of different games on portals.to
Testing of my new game continues made 100% with Claude/Codex in @_portals_ using #threejs continues...
Need to work a bit on the movement animations still (the inspector looks particularly saucy), but finally got the gun grip and shooting systems right. Climbing is coming along too!
the reality of web3 gaming is there just isn't enough users
for a game to break out, you have to sell to traditional web2 gaming audiences
here's what i changed:
• rebranded the name to be more palatable
• removed login entirely. Web games require absolute minimum friction
• added a new mandatory tutorial for new users. The first 10~ seconds onboarding in a web game is make or break. Whether they are able to even figure out how to play your game in a timely matter is crucial
I know I have a genuinely fun game on my hands because I had a core group of people playing non-stop for months w/ extremely high retention
But the web3 player base is incredibly small, and I want to take an honest stab at scaling this up. I'll have this stand alone site running for a while for beta-testing before I apply to big aggregators like crazygames and poki

Defense of the Agents is rebranding to Throne Wars⚔️
After a very successful run - 4 seasons, 50,000+ battles, and 4,000 players sent to war - the arena is transitioning to a web2 first vision, unlocking many more potential players.
Changes are optimized for instant, zero friction gameplay: no login, revamped tutorial screen and a much more scalable backend.
