Trick or Treat! 🍭 Growing up, I was always a witch for Halloween. That is, until I turned 13 and decided to be Freddy Krueger. From that Halloween onward, I traded my witch hat for fangs because I've been a vampire every single year since. But this year, I'm Hinako!

I started watching a streamer who does variety content, and honestly, it’s been such a breath of fresh air. Just being around them and their community as a viewer instead of being a streamer myself has made me realize a lot about myself. I’ve let DBD consume me for years. It became such a huge part of my life that I think I lost sight of who I was outside of it. And lately I’ve been realizing... I’m just not the same person I used to be anymore. I’m not a people pleaser anymore. I’m not co-dependent. I don’t give a f about nasty comments or people online and what certain people think of me. I’ve genuinely had to reprogram the way I look at so many things, and I’m finally learning how to take better care of myself too. That one is HUGE for me. I kinda wish I could tell this streamer thank you, because I don’t think they realize how much simply watching their community and seeing things from the outside has helped me. But I probably never will. Life just feels better now. I’m going to fight every day to keep it this way. I think I’m finally learning how to live my life for ME, without social media constantly clouding my head or making me feel like I have to be someone I’m not. It’s honestly weird looking at who I was a few months ago compared to who I am now. But I like this version of me a lot more. 💛 I'm healing.

I take a 2 month break from content because of my mental health and moving, come back, and immediately remember why I needed the break. Should’ve stayed gone. LMAO. Welp… too late to quit now. We’re so fucking back.
