Could Ceres be the model rural town for SA?

There's to more to Ceres than apples, fruit juice and snow. Agricultural economist Maluta Netshaulu discovered this during a recent trip.

The Taliban open fire at women & girls in Kabul today, protesting for their basic right to be free, to live, to go to school, to work. Extraordinary that western feminists fight for their equal rights until it’s time to fight for the heart of Asia.

Loved spending time with our Metro Police K-9 unit, which we’re expanding as part of our work to make Cape Town safer. More of these incredible canine Officers, with bigger kennels and training grounds, coming soon.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed AB 2183, a bill that would give farmworkers the option to vote by mail in union elections. It’s a reversal from his position in August, when he stated that he would not support the bill as it stood. xitter.cf/CAgovernor/status/1575…

CA’s farmworkers are the lifeblood of our state & have a fundamental right to unionize and advocate for themselves in the workplace. Alongside advocates and farmworkers outside the State Capitol, Governor @GavinNewsom signed legislation expanding union rights for farmworkers. ✊🏽

Back in the '80s, we used yellow baskets to make our berries more recognizable at the store. It's 40 years later, and the color has been a part of our story ever since. 🍓☀️ #FinestBerries
