Last weekend, I led a renter listening event. I’m grateful to the renters who shared their stories with us at the door, and later with City Hall. We must create policies that work to achieve housing stability for all City residents. Let's pass rent stabilization! #HousingJustice

Honored to lead Rockville in recognizing and celebrating Kwanzaa from Dec 26 to Jan 1. Each of the seven days highlights an important principle. My personal favorite is Day 2, "Kujichagulia" (Self-Determination). #KwanzaaCelebration #SelfDetermination

A Rockville faith leader recently said, "Healing begins with sharing stories." I appreciate the community members who shared their powerful stories with the Mayor and Council, leading to our co-creation and passage of this important statement against hate.

Last night, Richard Montgomery High School held an engaging community conversation on public safety. It was great to hear diverse viewpoints from students, parents, and educators regarding our collective safety. #CommunityConversation #PublicSafety #Rockville
