You can’t legislate the sun staying visible in the sky longer, dumbass. It’s the same amount of sunlight, just idiotically shifted.
My Sunshine Protection Act will get this fixed — Americans want MORE sunshine. It’s time to pass this bill and deliver!☀️
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Sunshine Protection Act would make daylight saving time permanent year-round, leading to later sunsets in winter but not more total sunshine, since daily daylight hours are fixed by the sun's position and unchanged by clocks.

This day next year…. Who gives a shit?
Indiana, Alabama, Georgia, (& the loser of BYU/ND) are making the playoffs.
Elite programs are, almost, universally protected. The 24 team is for propping up mediocre teams/programs.
Speak differently, @ClayTravis, @TimBrando, et al.
Is Texas a playoff team? 🤔
They've gone from an 85% chance last week to a 39% chance today to make the CFP at @Kalshi
So over 20% of the Big Ten still wouldn’t have gotten in.
Kinda impossible to argue they’re the “deepest” or “best top to bottom” conference.
Even weirder how on a 5 person team, 12 person roster 1 good transfer/purchase can change the entire trajectory. But on a 22 person team, 100 person roster, it takes a lot more.
CFB & CBB aren’t the same & aren’t comparable.
“Donating every dollar I make in Washington!” —- Nope, not a cent.
Creating a veterans’ charity —- nope. Never happened.
Holding up military promotions over political differences —- yep.. for years.
Cool story, dumbass.
Over the past six years, it’s been my honor to fight for Alabama’s troops and military installations. Through the six NDAA’s I’ve been a part of, we secured pay raises for our troops, made improvements to our bases, and made sure Alabama continues punching far above our weight when it comes to defense. I particularly enjoyed my aviation tour of Fort Rucker in 2023.
