The Brewers are being celebrated like they invented baseball. They are doing things that have become unusual. They have an old school tough manager who players love playing for. They focus on basic easy to understand basic fundamentals. They have a hitting coach that was an overachieving player for skill that played in the big leagues. They hit the ball the other way. They value putting the ball in play. They adjust their approach based on situation and count. They are not addicted to exit velocity and launch angle bullshit. They bunt and steal bases. They do not have selfish superstars that need to be treated like celebrities. The Brewers simply play the game how it was meant to be played.

The 4th Great Lie - We will never tax this money.
HISTORY LESSON ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD: Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are FACTS. Up until the 1980's, Social Security cards expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the "NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION" message was removed. Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. His promises are in black, with updates in brackets. 1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary [No longer voluntary], 2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program [Now 7.65% on the first $90,000, and 15% on the first $90,000 if you’re self-employed], 3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year [No longer tax deductible], 4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program [Under Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and spent], and 5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income [Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed]. Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following: Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it? A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate. Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding? A: The Democratic Party. Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities? A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US AND MY FAVORITE: Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants? A: That’s right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it! Now, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, though. Some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so — but it’s worth a try.

I've watched the first two games of the World Series from beginning to end. I have not done this in a long time and it is like being in a baseball time machine. The teams playing, Milwaukee and Tampa Bay play what is called "small ball" which is to say don't rely on home runs to win games. This year the Astros hit 226 dingers. Tampa was 22nd with 169 homers and the Brewers hit 154 and ranked 29 of 30 teams. I don't know any of the players or who the coaches are. No big stars. No one with a $500 million contract. No nonsense. Get on base. Advance the runner. Steal a base now and then. Take chances. The two games so far have been tense and both were one-run victories by Milwaukee. In the 2026 season, Tampa Bay led MLB in one-run victories with a 25-14 record. The Brewers at .636 had the best record in MLB. Baseball teams ranked by salaries show how much richer players are in the biggest cities. The NY Mets pay $346 million and the Dodgers $339 M this year. The Brewers are ranked 19 of 30 and pay $200 M less than the Mets and the Tampa Bay Rays team is ranked 28th at $95 M. Cleveland, which almost made it to the Series, has the lowest team salary in Major League Baseball at $74M. So we have a Series this year that is not based on names you recognize from cities that have never wond a World Series. Enjoy it and hope it goes seven games.

You could add up all the money given to all the politicians running in any given campaign and then calculate the number of people who could go to Disneyland for a week and make as much sense as this post.
With the money that Elon Musk has wasted on political influencing, he could have lifted an estimated 72,000 struggling US families out of poverty by paying off extra unexpected medical debt, provided reliable transportation to work or school, basic housing for a reasonable price and job opportunities. Let that sink in

More compelling evidence that the left and their minions hate everyone who is not rowing their boat. They will say and do anything to hold onto power. The claim constantly that their opponents are trying to destroy our democracy. reason.com/2026/10/23/worst-…

I saw the video about this false arrest and two year struggle to resolve the case in favor of the man who had been arrested for driving home and making a minor traffic violation. The arresting officer acted as he had run down a fleeing murder suspect and called the driver out of his gareage at gunpoint. Four days later, this case was correctly resolved.
Friday we posted the video about the guy’s @Tesla saving him from prison… 4 days and 8M views later, the cop has now been fired.

Emily Baitlis is like many progressives who make assertions without evidence to pretend that their questions are based on common knowledge. This knowledge is not common, it's not even knowledge.
8 years ago, in this brilliant interview, Hungary’s Foreign Minister refused to be bullied by Emily Maitlis on immigration. He’s been totally vindicated.

"Loving kindness is the most revolutionary force in existence." After reading Mr. Segal's post, does anyone believe what he wrote in his bio?
Tax billionaires at 50 of anything over their first billion dollars of wealth and 90% over their first 5 billion. If they leave the country, they can't take their mansions, AI data centers, and physical businesses with them. Billionaires are not geniuses; they are parasites.

Once again, the left demonstrates its complete inability to apply logic to any situation.
About a decade ago I became intrigued by the stupidity of the term “intersectionality”, at least as it was being used by left wing activists. It emerged out of critical legal studies, I reasoned, surely it couldn’t be completely retarded. I had access to my schools limitless supply of academic papers, so I decided to read a few, just to understand the genesis of the term, to see whether / how it was being misapplied in a seemingly anemic way after it filtered down from the law faculty to the low iq street hustlers and racial activists. I read the four most recent peer reviewed papers addressing the concept. Almost 100 pages of reading and thus far all I had learned was that intersectionality was a “travelling concept”. As far as I could tell this was something akin to the sisterhood of the travelling pants, wherein the way it fits, looks and functions depends entirely on which member of the sisterhood is in possession of it. Because I am nothing if not autistic, I then read the next previous four papers. And the next four. And the next four. . . . Eventually I worked my way back to Kimberlé Crenshaw’s OG paper that coined the term in the late eighties. By this point t it was almost a year later (I said I was autistic!), and I had by now ingested almost 100 published, peer reviewed academic papers on intersectionality. I have included two verbatim quotes straight from the horses mouth. Yes it’s really that retarded, no, there is nothing more to it. Yes LITERALLY EVERY LEFTIST THOUGHT TERMINATING BRAIN WORM IS LIKE THIS. They are not theories, they are WEAPONS. They cannot be anything but weaponised. All of leftism is this, ad infinitum.

Do they complain that flies get in the house when a window is left open?
American women buying new cars believe there is a design flaw with many new cars When they roll the window down or open their new cars doors in the rain, the interior of the car gets wet They believe this is design flaw with the top of the car’s shape and also saying the vehicle’s windows should be designed better These people vote….

I have a good friend who has a lot more firearms than in this gunsafe. I am completely comfortable sitting in his living room.
Would you be comfortable having this person as your next-door neighbor? Think carefully

Betrand Russell published The Practice and Theory of Bolshevism in 1920. Russell argued that Islam and Bolshevism are both practical, social, and unspiritual systems focused on conquering and ruling "the empire of this world". Russell noted that both systems blend earthly and ideological/spiritual authority into a single militant movement that demands total allegiance from its followers. He viewed them as possessing a dogmatic, crusading zeal operating with a rigid certainty that accepts no compromise with other worldviews

Communism and Islamism. Islam is not a religion. It's a political movement.

I have come to the same conclusion. If it's only the extremists who are of concern, why do ordinary Muslims accept that theology and the state are one, the treatment of women, and throw homosexuals off buildings?
Replying to @brivael
I wanted to support this but you made he mistake that Islam isn’t Islamism. I am an ex Muslim. They’re one and the same! Why do you think we don’t have protests for protecting non Muslims, why no protests for lgbt, or women in Afghanistan? The majority there hate everything you believe. They only come for economic benefits! There are so many women who I know who don’t wear hijab in the west and yet support the same Islamist ideas! Don’t be fooled! They’re opportunists who will do what needs to be done to stay alive in any situation. They have no true belief in liberty and truth.
