Looking forward to presenting at @21cli Maker and STEAM Space Symposium with @VarelKeith
Enjoyed it immensely last year as an attendee and expect this year to be another great event 21c-learning.com/events/make…
Gr1s assembled these laser cut tuk-tuks then picked up a few fares driving around our model city using @VEXRobotics 123s

Leah puts into words what I’m feeling and I’m sure others are too.
What about Addy and others like her? Politicians don’t even think about how their words, actions, and inactions impact others. #SupremeCourt #RoeVsWade #autism
"...you cannot teach people to be humane by using inhumane methods, and you cannot teach people to be self-governing by controlling them externally." (Porter, 2014)
Great summary of why choice and autonomy is so important to students (and teachers!)
Making kick ass #halloween costumes is the one of the most important jobs of a #makerspace teacher.
Can any #makers share me their tips to getting the protective layer off an old piece of acrylic where the glue has gone a bit weird and it no longer peels.
Hi @padlet my feedback as a teacher using audio comments on student padlet design process journals
1)I want to record audio & still view the padlet
2)When audio is processing, the "publish" button is positioned where the "X" eventually is after loading: causing accidental deletes!
Kinetic artwork with mindstorms. This will be a #makerspace challenge next week for my primary students.
When setting #LEGO maker challenges for students to do at home, it's very necessary that you spend most of the day building your own superhero hideout as an example...
Stoked with the solder station refresh. And got my fancy gas soldering iron too. Need to set up an exhaust next.

I made this simulator in @scratch to model transmission of disease in a population. It's not perfect but still allows some pretty interesting experiments. Feel free to use with students or let them remix.

Pleased with how these decorations for Las Vegas themed winter formal event turned out. Made by our @northbridgecam Makers club and STUCO.
Designed this bottle cutter for G1 to use for a recycled materials project (hanging planters). Works great and I've put it on thingiverse if you wanna try it.

This little 3D printed Lego balloon rocket from thingiverse worked great for a G6 science lesson on air pressure and behaviour of gases.

This Halloween build always goes down well with early years and KG. Bit of laser cutting and electronics.
This idea pinched from @mabycraft worked really nicely for a simple G6 science experiment. Manipulating independent variables (type of wheels attached) and collecting data (how high it goes) @northbridgecam
Cheers to @dukelyer for some special comments in this episode. More from the great man in the coming weeks too!
Our latest episode delves into best ways of assessing #PBL Project-based learning. But we ended up with more questions than answers in this part 1 of 2. anchor.fm/riskybusinesseduca…
