Aston Villa’s net spend since 2022 is
-£10.7m, yet we can’t spend money, even though we’re £10m in profit?
The Premier League is fucking corrupt

Arsenal's starting XI and substitutes had a combined market value £649,050,000 higher than Fleetwood's...
But it was the League Two side who came out on top 🤯

If #avfc qualifies for the UCL next season with a younger squad, a higher ceiling, and no financial pressures, they will seriously contend for trophies and be a top 4 presence for years to come. It is why the media are pushing the idea of Emery going to United so hard.

Everybody talks about Manchester City's quality. Everybody talks about Arsenal's title credentials.
Meanwhile, Unai Emery is building a serious case for Aston Villa to be taken just as seriously.
Nicolas Jackson's brace helped Villa beat City's side, while Emery marked four years at the club.
At what point do we stop treating Villa as outsiders and start discussing them as a genuine force?

I am not a big fan of individual awards because football means teamwork and family and belonging to something greater. But Unai represents his own excellency and the hard work and effort of hundreds of men and women with a purpose in Aston Villa. From owners to staff. Unai didn’t win but he deserved with my high respect to Luis De la Fuente, also a fair winner. And if there will be one for the best sporting director it would be for Roberto. Keep going guys. Our Ballon d’Or is what we are building. UTV.

Up next: Chelsea-Man United on Saturday. Carrick will be there.

As an Arsenal fan, I'm embarrassed the way this man was treated. But he is thriving at Villa and it's great to see.

Keep seeing (some loud) Arsenal fans piping up about how Arteta is a better manager than Emery.
The difference is Unai Emery would achieve far more than Arteta has if he had the resources Arteta has available to him.. and Arteta would fail spectacularly if he had the resources that Unai has available to him.
Argument ended x

Since Emery took over, Villa's net spend is essentially zero. In the same period, Man City's net spend is £537 million.
Unai is a genius. #avfc
