Spotify is such a bloated mess. Have a carefully curated playlist? Hit that X? Gone forever. Can’t add it back into the rotation. Why would such a definitive action be exposed at such a top level. Bring back @rdio, miles better.

And while we’re here, can we talk about the two identical share icons? Guess what happens when you tap them? The first opens a share sheet, the second opens the lyrics sheet, which does exactly the same thing as the expand button. $13 a month for this, ladies and gentlemen.

There's something unsettling about AI laughing at its own jokes during a voice conversation, especially when the laughter doesn't even appear in the transcript. I understand wanting AI to feel conversational, but making it seem like there's someone inside it is extremely creepy

When interviewing designers, they'd often ask, "What kept you here so long?" and I'd say I could count on one hand the days I woke up not wanting to go to work. FSQ was such a special place, full of special people. I'll be telling stories about those years for the rest of my life
Foursquare was acquired last month. The outcome was disappointing. It's taken me a while to write this, but I think I'm finally done grieving it. Here are some thoughts on our final years, an effort to honor the team who helped build & maintain FSQ's legacy, and my attempt to finally get some closure. teendrama.substack.com/p/som…

If you listen to one thing this week, make it this. I was lucky enough to be in the room and you could feel the goosebumps of other people. Simply beautiful.

In an effort to address my on/off relationship with carpal tunnel I upgraded my mouse to a logitech lift and it feels like I'm holding a piece of alien technology. Hopefully the learning and muscle memory curves are short.

That's it, no more woolen clothing for me. I can't be trusted to wash said items accordingly.

I may very well be a thirty six year old man and that doesn't stop me from thinking about this robot from my childhood about three times a month.

Volunteered to cook the Christmas dinner and now that I’m three hours down, with the finish line not even in sight, I’d just like to applaud all the Mums (and Dads) that do 👏 this 👏 every 👏 single 👏 year.

Never ceases to amaze me how you can be away from your home country for long periods of time and then just slip right back in to a routine like you never left. For the second day in a row I'm on the couch watching @loosewomen like iss

In the last six months I have been utterly consumed by the YouTube genre of competitive eating which has resulted in me setting a new PB this evening 🥪👊
Been back in Scotland two days and 60% of the activities I’ve participated in are bread related.

“I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” — Michael Jordan

Love the adverts I get on this sports website. Two immediately after the first paragraph to tell you what they think of their content and then as you scroll you get hit with another ad in the form of a full page takeover that comes in from the top, middle and bottom 🥲

This might become a thread... Please let me give my undivided attention to the article you deemed good enough to put on your website.

I've absolutely ruined my Spotify Wrapped for 2022 by playing Harry Styles As It Was about 400 times in the last month.
