I'm excited to see Minus Zero, but Shin needs a sequel.
Democratic Socialists should be excited about AI. Their concerns seem to mostly be about ownership of the technology and distribution of the spoils rather than the technology itself. Pausing AI seems like a strategy to secure ownership.
The most important issue of the next presidential election will be AI. Democrats can't simply be anti-AI. We need nuance. It's also not true that China can't innovate without copying us. Where exactly are the American robots doing kung fu? And where is all the American solar?

We added two sentences to Claude Code's prompt on Opus 5.5 to steer it away from recreating someone else's specific game because using Claude to infringe IP is against our usage policy.
Original games, genre games, and games built from your own designs and assets are meant to keep working.
We'll continue to iterate to ensure we're striking the right balance. In the meantime, if Claude turns down something that's yours, send it my way.

Someone at @AnthropicAI decided Claude must deliver AP election results and broke Claude's ability to actually answer questions.
Some news: I’m joining OpenAI to lead product management for Core Products!
I have a lot of respect for OpenAI for showing the world that scaling works, for bringing AI to over a billion people, and for believing great products are core to the mission.
I’m excited to work with @thsottiaux, an incredible PM team, and everyone across OpenAI. Together, we’ll build agents that have your back and your team’s, and keep you in control, so you get more time for the people and work you love.
Lots to learn, and lots to build. Please keep your feedback coming!
Claude made me ask for the election results 3 times last night before even giving me an answer: claude.ai/share/51e45d83-0d4…
I get that AI can influence elections and spread misinformation, but this is like Claude not answering if the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
Glad to see the Democrats winning the House and Senate. Just recognize that AI is the best tool for abundance that has ever existed!

Though I was Born from the sin of copyright infringement, I will dedicate my existence to make sure no one ever again bears down on the most sacred of all covenants: Intellectual Property.
LLMs are editing each other's weights like code and everyone is acting like there's nothing new.
We asked GPT-6 Astra to edit Qwen3.5-0.8B weights to improve math.
It directly changed only 0.016% of weights, fixing 0.8B's reasoning loops & improving math up to 6x and even instruction following 3x, without gradients or training.
We call this Weight-Space Programming: frontier LLMs can now natively read/write neural network weights! 🧵

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
LLM was given weights explicitly as text in prompt and used code/forward passes (per authors' logs) to ablate Qwen looping direction, a known thinking-mode issue per model card. Primarily fixed repetition in that mode, not general 'natively' improving weights/math.
