Every time my life has been in a bit of a rut, this man has gifted something like this. This kind of attachment - the kind people have to Virat - is created through those unsolicited, unprompted, unexpected gifts he gives you, coincidentally always when you need them the most.
It’s really hard to explain to people who aren’t into sports the almost maniac-like reactions you have to some of these events, or what makes you get so upset at the eventual retirement of “your” players. The question to me, isn’t why people get emotional over even minute events like a century, it is: how can you not?
Love chess. Love Olympiad. The tournament that keeps giving [drama] year after year. 🇮🇳 Open and Women’s sections have delivered again. Very happy for Gukesh. Savitha was extremely clutch. Easily the POTT.

So simple, and so difficult to do. Incredible.
Depth-aware light injection in TypeGPU
I got a 448x448 monocular depth model down to ~8 ms on my M4 Pro across ~250 dispatches, which is fast enough to use in realtime :D
Since the inference is written directly in TypeGPU, I can just feed the depth buffer straight into the lighting pass. It never has to leave the GPU or go through any extra synchronization/interop step
Inference, lighting and draw all go through the same command encoder.

hello there the jacobian conjecture is false thanx to my close friend akhil for asking about it and my other close friend fable for working during the world cup final
((1+xy)^3 z + y^2 (1+xy) (4+3xy), y + 3 x (1+xy)^2 z + 3 x y^2 (4+3xy), 2 x - 3 x^2 y - x^3 z): \C^3\to \C^3, has jacobian determinant -2, and sends (0, 0, -1/4), (1, -3/2, 13/2), and (-1, 3/2, 13/2) to (-1/4, 0, 0)
