A month ago, we lost our sweet cat Buster Bean.
I decided to make my Tighten Voxacon puzzle with his favorite things and show people lots of handsome pictures of him.
Thanks to everyone at #laracon who stopped in to Bean’s Place this week 💜

This has always bothered me. When the broadcast switches in the middle of the windup, the second shot… goes back in time a little?
So how do they get back to real-time? Is something sped up to get back?? Is the center field cam just 1/4 second behind til switching? #WorldSeries

I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026.
That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community.
Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward.
We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how:
· Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly.
· Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact.
· Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security.
· The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional.
Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.
Booooooooo Arc is the best browser ever made, and they just abandoned it 😭

Critical PHP vulnerabilities to be disclosed tomorrow: php.net/archive/2026.php.
We're working directly with the PHP Foundation to get patched PHP versions into our base images for Laravel Cloud, Forge, and Vapor ASAP.
You may need to redeploy your apps at that time to use these patched versions, but we're also working on the ability to silently patch applications without needing a redeployment.
All customers have been emailed and we will be providing further updates via email as the situation evolves.

Okay, since the news is already out: an RCE vulnerability in PHP core, CVSS 10.0. Further details are scheduled for release on October 20. Only PHP 8 will receive patches.
All I want from Laravel Herd 2.0 is never having to see this window pop up with these messages ever again.
