Scotland must have 24/7 thrombectomy. A stroke does not wait for office hours, and the chance of survival must never depend on the time of day or the day of the week.

Charles de Gaulle combined historical knowledge with a romantic vision of his nation’s destiny, carrying France on his shoulders. His self-confidence was immense, yet beneath it lay a profound humility before history and the nation he served. seenandunseen.com/charles-de…

I am a Scottish Conservative because I will defend all that makes Scotland great. I am a Scottish unionist because I believe Britain’s institutions are not a limit on Scotland’s potential, but one of the sources of her strength.

I would not be surprised if a Conversion Practices Ban Bill is brought forward in Scotland before Westminster has even held its debate. Scotland may well be called upon to settle this question first.
SNP conference has passed a resolution “by acclaim” which condemns the UKG’s draft bill on a conversion therapies ban as “inadequate” & asks Scot Govt to “impose a comprehensive ban’ within a year to cover “all religious and medical settings”
