more true than ever
A huge amount of the Anti-AI code sentiment massively overestimates the quality of human code outside of a very small set of open source and high quality company codebases. Human Slop is everywhere and can trivially be improved on by any opus level model.

AI Gateway now supports model aliases! A model alias is a pool of models that your application calls by one name. AI Gateway tries the models in the order you set and falls back to the next one if a request fails, or uses smart routing to choose a model for each request 🔥

I grew up here. It’s pretty cool
St. Augustine, Florida, was already 55 years old when the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock. Founded by the Spanish in 1565 on land inhabited by the Timucua, it's the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the continental U.S. It also predates Jamestown by 42 years.

The 🇺🇸 IRS just released the new tax brackets for 2027 Single filers (2026 in parentheses): 10%: $12,800 or less ($12,400) 12%: over $12,800 ($12,400) 22%: over $52,025 ($50,400) 24%: over $109,125 ($105,700) 32%: over $208,325 ($201,775) 35%: over $264,550 ($256,225) 37%: over $661,375 ($640,600) Married filing jointly (2026 in parentheses): 10%: $25,600 or less ($24,800) 12%: over $25,600 ($24,800) 22%: over $104,050 ($100,800) 24%: over $218,250 ($211,400) 32%: over $416,650 ($403,550) 35%: over $529,100 ($512,450) 37%: over $793,650 ($768,700)
THE IRS JUST RELEASED THE NEW 2027 🇺🇸 TAX BRACKETS. HERE'S HOW THEY WORK IN PLAIN ENGLISH Every bracket got a little bigger to keep up with inflation, so you can earn a bit more before moving into a higher rate. Step 1: Take what you earn and subtract the standard deduction. That part isn't taxed at all. - Single: $16,600 - Married: $33,200 Step 2: Whatever's left gets taxed in layers. Single filers: - 10% on your first $12,800 - 12% on income up to $52,025 - 22% up to $109,125 - 24% up to $208,325 - 32% up to $264,550 - 35% up to $661,375 - 37% on anything above that Married couples: the cutoffs are roughly double ($25,600, $104,050, $218,250, $416,650, $529,100, $793,650). Example: You're single and earn $76,600. Subtract $16,600 and you're taxed on $60,000. - 10% on the first $12,800 = $1,280 - 12% on the next $39,225 = $4,707 - 22% on the last $7,975 = $1,755 Total: about $7,742 in federal income tax, or roughly 10% of what you earned. Even though you're "in" the 22% bracket, only your last $7,975 gets taxed at 22%.

With the recent wave of vulnerability disclosures, it’s a good time to take a closer look at your own code. Turn your coding agent into a team of security auditors with the open-source skill that seeded Cloudflare’s vulnerability discovery harness. The 6 phase approach: 1. Map the codebase 2. Hunt for vulnerabilities 3. Challenge each candidate 4. Record the findings 5. Verify the findings 6. Report what’s confirmed, rejected, or still needs validation Start your hunt here: github.com/cloudflare/securi…

Totally nuts that we don’t allow this in NC. No happy hour allowed, lol
Maybe the NC General Assembly will finally legalize canned cocktails in grocery stores and happy hours at bars and restaurants.

love this @Cloudflare site with prompts to get your site agent ready. isitagentready.com/paulstama… seems like 80 is about the best you can do if your site doesn't have a protected resource you need to auth into (which imo they should make optional like commerce too) i added an mcp to mine (paulstamatiou.com/mcp) including a way to contact me that uses Clef via Workers AI to determine if it's a legit message since there's no Turnstile for MCP, along with some limits

I had a great visit w/my mom & sister. I took my mom hostage for a Foothills Parkway drive. (She wore a cashmere sweater and a scarf so I couldn't coerce her into a hike, I just know it). 🙄🤣 Then an REI & coffee run to Pigeon Forge with my sister. We mostly behaved. 😊🥰

A hop-by-hop view of @Cloudflare network engineer @tstrickx crossing the Atlantic on Starlink Wi-Fi. Over 8 hours and 7,000 km, Starlink handed off satellites every 15 seconds and carried traffic through 7 Cloudflare deployments. Each plane appears to keep its own IPv6 /56. Over the ocean, inter-satellite lasers carried traffic to the nearest available ground station. Cloudflare’s anycast routing followed it, keeping traffic local as the plane moved at 40,000 feet and 500 knots. - Ocean crossings use inter-satellite laser links until traffic can reach a ground station. - Those laser routes appeared slower than fiber in this single test. - Latency showed two distinct bands, possibly from first-packet dataplane setup. - Ground-station selection changed during the flight, including a Canada-to-US switch near the border. - Cloudflare’s anycast routing followed the ground station, not the plane’s source address. That kept traffic local without DNS-based steering. starlink.ecmp.network/f/2026…
