Today, the Royal Canadian Air Force will conduct a solemn aerial salute, a tribute performed during funerals, memorial services, and commemorative events to honour fallen members. Two CT-156 Harvard II training aircraft from 15 Wing Moose Jaw will fly over Mosaic Stadium to honour the memory of the Canadian Armed Forces members who lost their lives last week during a tragic incident at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright. During the flypast, one aircraft will break formation and climb skyward, symbolizing the departure of the fallen and signifying that their service to Canada has come to an end.
