People ignore Chicago violence and they will exploit Buffalo. We must be better than that. We have a disease in our society. We have allowed race and politics to become our religion. A society cannot survive on politics and race. It needs something larger to believe in. Jesus!

Absolutely horrific and evil. Grieving with my brothers and sisters.
The Buffalo attack is clearly an attack on African Americans. Reach out to our brothers and sisters to let them know we are in harmony with their suffering. #Weepwiththose

Could it be that God didn't wire us to carry every event, taking place in every part of the world, at every moment, as it if were ours? Could it be that technology has produced a faux omniscience and omnipresence that is hurting mankind not helping it? Just a thought.

A Christian who claims that “empowering women makes men weak” contradicts the example of Paul who, in Colossians 1, says his prayer is that his brothers AND SISTERS in Christ would grow in the knowledge of God and be strengthened with all POWER according to God’s glorious might.

I think we’re happier at places like the sea or the mountains because their immensity & constancy - here long before us, here long after us - temporarily relieves us of the burden of inordinate self importance. We don’t just sit around & think about ourselves. The small go swim.

If you bend over backward to dismiss the sermon on the mount as not literal, for our time/culture, etc. but you claim biblical fidelity in order to silence women you don't actually have a high view of scripture, just a low view of women...your misogyny is showing.
