The layoffs will continue until video games improve
Don’t Nod, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, is collapsing.
The French developer is facing a near-total layoff, up to 85 jobs, which would leave its French teams with only a small number of employees.
The studio has struggled with a string of underperforming releases, the most recently the sci-fi adventure Aphelion.
Don’t Nod has warned that it may not have enough funding to continue operating beyond January 31, 2027, and has entered a French “safeguard” procedure to restructure its finances.

I remember growing up hearing this idea that Britain's national dish was chicken tikka masala, and always finding it strange that our national dish was meant to be something available at Indian restaurants that I'd never even seen anyone eat (even AT Indian restaurants).
When you see it as an example of New Labour top-down multiculturalism, it becomes quite pernicious, in the same way as 'Windrush built Britain' etc.
