Two wonderful things happened today...a child in Reception told me I was on his favourite teachers list ( two other teachers at least are also on it) and two Year 5 boys borrowed books from the shelf in my office #readingcommunity #readingforpleasure

People remember how you made them feel.
In classrooms, schools, teams, and relationships, small moments matter more than we realize.
A quick comment can make someone question themselves.
A dismissive reaction can make someone stop sharing.
A sarcastic response can make someone feel smaller.
But the opposite is true, too.
A kind word can help someone breathe again.
A moment of listening can restore confidence.
A simple βI see youβ can remind someone they belong.
Strong classroom culture and healthy school communities are not built through posters, slogans, or assemblies alone.
They are built in the daily moments when people choose to make others feel seen, heard, respected, and supported.
Be the person who makes the room feel safer.
Been on a school visit this morning and presenting on a course this afternoon. Taking a break in nature whilst the weather is lovely. #wellbeing #nature #freshair

Getting a few hours work done during half term whilst everyone else is at work! I have had worse offices!
Highlights of yesterday? No...not finishing the SATS but a Year 2 boy excited about his book which I invited him to read to me and a visit to my office from two Year 3 girls who were bringing me something but stayed for a chat about crafts, crochet and baby blankets .

It is the last day of #FebMusicChallenge26 so we are going #retro with our choices and we are going big. Thanks as always for joining in, it is the ten year anniversary next year. Little did I know it would last that long.
I saw a post on FB about nights out on a school night. About a year ago I started going to a local quiz on Thursday nights...it's great and I really look forward to it each week. #Wellbeing #workinaschool
