Jangler wasted no time grabbing a piece of fruit from the basket and hungrily devouring it. He tossed the core aside and grabbed another, noisily crunching on peel and flesh. "What... reason do I have... to be nice to some make believe creature? It's not like it matters!"

Jangler was thinking about saying the words again, just to see what happened. He smirked and readied to utter them, when he was handed the basket of food. He eyed her and the basket. "What's this for?" He asked, still unsure why this kid, who he only just met, was being so kind.

"Ah! Hey!" Jangler shouted, still trying to strike the fairy but alas, it was no use. He huffed and threw the stick down, crossed his arms, and rolled his eyes. "Fairy's aren't real!" He shouted.
