Weirdly effective public speaking hack: Practice your talk while doing light cardio. On a jog, brisk walk, or stationary bike ride. It simulates the heart rate rise you’ll feel when you get in front of people. You’ll be ready for it. Practice the way you play.
Skinner boys had a blast cheering on @GoMocsFB and catching up w @jp4loading — an exceptional talent and class act.

“Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” - MLK

Robert Pearl’s new book is OUT. It’s a brilliant analysis of how AI changes medicine. Can’t recommend it enough.
Saving and sharing this reminder that we're all doing the best we can.
Someone out there needs to hear this:
Most mistakes aren’t as big as you think.
In 1999, a study coined the term “Spotlight Effect.”
It’s a psychological concept in which people believe they’re being noticed far more than they are.
We’re the center of our worlds, so we assume we’re the center of others’ as well.
But that’s not true.
People mostly think about themselves.
This is a powerful realization when we make mistakes.
Zoom in — we think the world is ending.
Zoom out — the world is unchanged.
This isn’t to say mistakes don’t matter or don’t have consequences.
It’s just to say:
Take some pressure off.
Learn and move forward.
The world keeps spinning.
