It's a new dawn for caffeine:
@takezest 2.0 has landed.
We re-engineered caffeine to deliver instant morning energy – and realign your circadian rhythm.
Now smarter, smoother, and more personalized than ever 👇
used to clown quibi but maybe it really was just way ahead of its time
that or maybe we're just collectively brain rotted that this is the new breakthrough media format
we're on the cusp of an age of abundance for your health
the number of drugs going into development and production is growing exponentially
the only bottleneck will be how fast we can approve and produce them
People who cured / are curing their own cancer on X:
1/ @sytses - bone cancer, billionaire founder of Gitlab, developed 10+ personalized therapies for himself.
2/ @paul_conyngham - shrank his dog Rosie's mast cell cancer tumors after chemo and surgery weren't enough. Now backed by YC and Founders Fund
3/ @miriamgonp - stage 4 breast cancer, tumor sequenced, searching for vaccine manufacturer now
4/ @kevinace - stage 4 lung cancer, angel investor in 300+ companies, first drug stopped working after 18 months. Vaccine designed, now paying $300k out of pocket for the vaccine
5/ @masonbgrant: going founder mode on his his 32-year-old wife's rare liver cancer, sequencing her tumor with AI agents
6/ @ArunRLverma: former product leader at Atoms and Shopify, brain tumor, built a vaccine from his tumor. Now building an AI health agent startup based on what he went through
We're going to make it

Today we're announcing that Modal has crossed $1B in annualized run rate, as well as raised a $750M Series D at a $15.75B valuation, led by @Accel.
Since our Series C, usage has tripled and we’ve grown more than 15x year-over-year.
We are deeply grateful to the developers and companies building on Modal. There's still so much more to build, and we can't think of a better time to be building software.
insane – first real AI doctor that can write prescriptions
so bullish on @luiswenus
tapa and team are solving the memory problem at the core. its only a matter of time before their chips are ubiquitous
grateful and proud to be a small supporter!
Excited to announce Volantis's $88M Series A.
We are solving Al's memory bottleneck by using optics, enabling chips with huge amounts of fast & cheap memory.
By boosting both the memory bandwidth and capacity per chip by orders of magnitude, we enable ultra-fast inference (up to 10,000 tps/user) for large models (>10T) - with low $/tok to boot.
Initially, this will enable insanely fast agents - think coding agents that finish in minutes or even seconds instead of hours.
More excitingly, optics is a fundamentally scalable way to increase memory systems. Not 2X/year, but by orders of magnitude across new generations. This will enable a structurally new Al industry, including restarting scaling laws, holding entire repos in context windows & more.
Our team has pioneered many core semiconductor technologies: the 1st CoWoS product, early HBM, the 1st silicon photonics CPO systems, the 1st high volume tunable VCSELs, the 1st processors to directly communicate using light & more.
We’ve already sent data >10× farther than equally tiny electrical wires inside a chip package. Our next iteration is already taped out and targets world-record bandwidth density over relevant distances, read more: volantissemi.ai/news-insight…

Exciting news: @ListenLabs is joining @salesforce .
When @itsalfredw and I first met, we dreamed of a world where AI was as capable as it is today. But we knew intelligence alone wouldn't be enough. It had to deeply understand the humans it's built for.
That idea became Listen.
Since we started in 2023, Listen has interviewed millions of people for companies like Microsoft, Anthropic, and Sweetgreen. I am so proud of the product and the team we built.
Now that world is here. AI can build almost anything. Knowing what people actually want is the hard part. With Salesforce, when the transaction closes, we can bring that to every company in the world, much faster than we could alone.
We're just getting started. Back to work!

People who drank more coffee had less body fat, less visceral fat, and more lean mass than less-frequent or non-drinkers.
The biggest benefit was seen at 5 or more cups per day.
And for men, every extra cup per day was associated with a ~10 ng/dL higher total testosterone. Higher coffee intake was also associated with better glucose and insulin regulation in men.
This was an observational study, but mechanistic and experimental evidence actually supports coffee's benefits on metabolic and hormonal health. I'm willing to believe there's a real link here rather than draw a conclusion such as "coffee drinkers live healthier lives in general."

1/ Biological threats can bring a country to a halt without a single shot being fired. Yet much of our biodefense infrastructure has barely changed in decades, even as America’s institutions produce extraordinary scientific breakthroughs.
😄
we’re excited to share that we’ve raised $20M (from Accel, Index, & Emergence) to build the 'ai-native Slack' you've all been craving
TLDR; ando is a team messaging platform built fresh, from the ground, up for a world where agents act as real collaborators alongside us.
we have teams using us across 15 countries, and spanning industries like software, financial services, real estate, & more
request access if any of this resonates 💌
been working on a fix for everyone's messed up circadian rhythm @takezest
coming soon 👀
Damn, as someone with ADHD this finally puts words on something I’ve felt for years.
Since I started sleeping earlier around 4 years ago, life actually got way easier. Less chaos, better decisions, more consistency.
Maybe I wasn’t just terrible at discipline. Maybe my internal clock was just completely fucked.
the era of vibe coding for drugs is upon us

We must use frontier intelligence for good: to cure disease, protect life, and enable humans to flourish.
I’ve poured my heart and soul into this.
isaak and team @ capable are working on one of the most important problems and making the "impossible" possible
glad to be able to follow along this incredible journey and be a small supporter!
