On November 25th my family met with His Holiness the @DalaiLama
There were no electronics permitted inside, however the Buddhist monks captured these priceless moments of joy for my family
A short🧵to spread the joy we experienced
Never thought I would say this, but glad he is talking about a female’s ass.
"I hope Nicki wasn't insulted."
President Trump makes a joke about Nicki Minaj's backside during his Michigan campaign rally before quickly adding, "We love Nicki. She's been with us for a long time."
The moment comes as Minaj joins the president on the campaign trail ahead of the midterm elections.

I live in a maga state, and this description is 100% accurate 😔👇🏼
I live in a small MAGA town.
I know MAGA people. I drink with them. I talk to them. I study them.
They’re not the loud Twitter yappers, at least most of them. They’re quieter. Slower. But the delusion runs deep, just bottled up in passive smiles and soft voices.
A few weeks ago, one of them tried to convert me at a bar. He knew I wasn’t into the Trump cult, but he started soft. Calm voice. Friendly tone.
“Mario, you’re white. You can drink a lot, you eat meat, “he was just surprised that I was eating rare burger” and drinking vodka chasing it with Guinness. He also said, “You’re one of us. You should feel proud.”
That’s their seduction tactic.
Not facts. Not logic. Just subtle tribal grooming.
“You’re white. You drink. You belong.”
It was almost sweet, in a sad, culty way.
Like a Jehovah’s Witness trying to sell you eternal life with a shaky brochure and cheap suit.
But let’s talk about the whole ecosystem.
The truth.
MAGA men?
Most are not warriors.
They’re out-of-shape, insecure, jealous small-town boys who peaked in high school, still clinging to stories from when they “almost went pro” or “should’ve been in the military.”
They’re proud of being able to drink a case of light beer, drive a truck, and scream about freedom while their knees buckle from sugar and rage.
They’re easy to manipulate because they don’t ask questions.
They don’t read.
They react.
They memorize memes like scripture and repeat them like gospel.
They think being loud equals being right.
They think the world is laughing with them.
It’s not.
The world’s laughing at them, when it’s not just ignoring them entirely.
MAGA women?
They’re caught in a brutal paradox, constantly screaming about how proud and strong they are, while reshaping every inch of their body to meet a fake beauty standard pushed by the very system they claim to hate.
Plastic lips. Inflated cheeks. Eyelashes thick as windshield wipers.
Trying to look rich while shopping clearance at Walmart.
They scream about “natural family values” while injecting Botox and collapsing into MLM scams that promise empowerment through overpriced lipstick.
They mock liberals for being “gender confused” while wearing more synthetic parts than a Barbie made in a Russian factory.
Here’s the thing: MAGA America isn’t just backward.
It’s boring. MAGA folks are simply subsimple.
There’s nothing imaginative about it. No new culture. No innovation. No ideas.
They don’t invent, they imitate.
They don’t challenge, they chant.
It’s the same five phrases over and over.
The same flag. The same truck. The same outfit.
Patriot cosplay.
And that’s why the world doesn’t just hate MAGA.
It forgets it.
Because once the shouting stops, there’s nothing under the hood.
Just cheap beer breath, fake smiles, and a belief that whiteness and loudness are still enough to matter.
You want the brutal truth?
Even without Trump, even without the cult, most of them would still be irrelevant.
Not because they’re evil.
But because they chose comfort over growth.
Tribalism over truth.
Imitation over imagination.
They don’t want to understand the world.
They want the world to stay small enough to understand them.
And that’s the saddest, most humiliating part.
If he was going to sue he would have done so already.
This is a pure social media campaign.
Jared Kushner’s attorneys at Clare Locke have sent Vanity Fair a formal demand letter disputing the story and demanding its removal.
It can be very difficult for current and former intelligence customers to pursue defamation cases, not because they face a different legal standard, but because proving their case may require classified evidence they are not authorized to disclose.
I’m not making a prediction about whether Kushner will or won’t file suit…just pointing out that it’s more challenging for him than for most.
Carl Sagan called it 🎯
I do not expect many to understand, nor listen longer than 10 seconds, just like he predicted

This is a touching story, many immigrants dating back to Ellis island have “Americanized” their names including my family.
Like Abdul, we were grateful to be here and accommodating what made it easier for us to fit in is very common.
I was born and raised here, my Dad came to Chicago in the 70s to be an engineer, my elder brother and Mom joined a couple yrs later when he saved up enough to afford airline tickets. Jay came shortly afterwards.
To this day, my brother and I do not go by our given names. Our last name is pronounced incorrectly, by choice, to make it less confusing for English speakers.
A small price to pay for being a citizen of the best country on the planet. It is hard to describe the loyalty that is within a family that has chosen to leave home for a chance at something better.
I am a slightly older version of Abdul, and like many other children of immigrants, I am fiercely loyal to the US Constitution which strives for equality - regardless of where you come from, the color of you skin, or how you pray.
This audacious concept the founders conceived has its struggles and victories. It is an iterative process to meet what they dreamed up - the ideal society to maximize individual freedom, w a system of checks and balances to govern us all. The Constitution is poetry to me.
The American Dream is still alive, and we must fight to preserve the system to keep it 🇺🇸
Jon & Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (@AbdulElSayed) discuss how the immigrant story that inspired his public service has become a political target, with opponents focusing on his name rather than their policies. New pod out now!

As a lifelong Republican it saddens me to say that as we go to the polls this coming election, I hope for a vote that leads to the total destruction and annihilation of Maga, and any election hopes for any Republicans that favor it.

Our VP is Putin’s PR firm now
JD Vance: I have never actually met Putin. I have talked to him on the phone a number of times. You know, it’s interesting, he’s more soft-spoken than you’d necessarily expect.
The American media has a particular image of him. He’s soft spoken, in a certain way. He’s very deliberate. He’s very careful. And I think, fundamentally, he’s a person who looks out for the interests as he sees it of Russia. (2025)
He just yada yada yada’d violating the constitution to steal an election 🤣
I will always stand up and fight for our common-sense Missouri values and never forget the good people who supported and voted for me as your @MissouriSOS.

Missouri’s history is really unique. St. Louis was founded by the French, and had good relations with the natives. It became part of America through the Louisiana purchase. Americans settled along the Mississippi. Osage war bands attacked the settlements leading to a war, the result was to push the Osage west. (They later joined the confederates). Germans came into the new territory to farm and founded dozens of towns in the Ozark mountains. It means cities like St Louis have large influences from the French, the English and Germans. When it joined the Union it couldn’t decide if it was in the north or south. A new piece of legislation was created to solve this. Missouri remained straddling the line and during the civil war brother really did fight brother in Missouri. Militias joined both sides. Even geographically the state is split in two. The north is flat farmlands, the south is mountainous, filled with rivers and streams. It’s one of the most bio diverse places in North America. It has giant salamanders, bears and wildcats, even a native freshwater jellyfish.
